It' s okay. I expected thicker gauge copper due to the weight given in the product description and other reviews. The box shows the total shipped weight as 36.3 lbs. It looks good and the base is sturdy.

The fire pit came with great dented features. My experience was fantastic opening a box with pieces everywhere and the bowl bent and ruined. Replacement on the way, hopefully this one was not previously opened.

I selected this product for two reasons: It's accurately described as heavy duty. The legs are solid wrought iron and all together, the unit weighs 70 pounds. Compared to competitors products that weigh 30 pounds and you understand why they suffer from complaints that the thin sheet metal they are made from rusted through. That isn't a problem with this. The copper tray is real copper sheet and will never rust through. I'm very pleased with this and especially with the fast shipping even though it was not Prime. I've already set it up (putting it together takes about 10 minutes and it helps if you have a long Phillips screwdriver to hold the screws between the legs. The fire is burning in it now.

We received our fire pit within 4 days of placing the order. I put it together Saturday morning in about 15 minutes and we had our first fire on Saturday night. The pit is easy to use and very easy to keep clean and maintain. The cover included with the pit will help to protect it from the rain/elements as well. What a nice fire pit and we are going to enjoy many fires with family and friends.

my kids love it. works great. I drilled a half inch hole in the bottom for rain water to drain because you can't always cover it in time. Sometimes the wood coals and ashes smoulder for half a day or so. Very nice looking in the yard as well.
