Belts for Men Mens Belt Buckle Genuine Leather Stitched Uniform Dress Belt

The belt itself is fairly attractive. The biggest problem with buying any belt online is sizing it correctly. There doesn't seem to be a uniform sizing system from manufacturer to manufacturer. My actual waste is 46 inches. Even in the Amazon size chart it says that the size chart is intended for reference only. Sizes can vary between brands. My waist size is exactly 46 inches where a belt would be set. According to Amazon you should order one size larger. Therefore I should have ordered a 48 inch belt. If I had done so I will assure you that the belt would have been too small. To be on the safe side I decided to order a 52 inch belt. This was three sizes larger than my waist. When it arrived it was almost too large. It still works for me but I have to put it in the last hole on the belt. My perfect size would have been a 50 inch which is two sizes larger than my waist size.As far as the quality of the belt is concerned I find it to be very good. I find the belt to be very attractive and for the money I was not disappointed.

Since posting my original review, the seller contacted me via Amazon. I was very impressed with their concern and offer for either a replacement or a refund. I accepted the replacement. First, it is interesting to note that there are some minor differences in the replacement. This leads me to believe that a production issue was found and corrected. Second, examining the grain of the leather on an unfinished edge behind the buckle ( normal industry practice, NOT a problem!) the new belt has a much better grain. The replacement is vastly superior to the first received. It appears that this company truly cares about its customers, and is committed to improving the quality of its products. DEFI:N:ITELY becoming a regular customer.I don't know what the material is, but it's no leather I've ever seen. Durable? Yes, but I've had it for four months now, and it's still more stiff than a new pair of military work boots. I have NEVER seen real leather stay this stiff for this long, not even boiled leather armor made for Society for Creative Anachronism armored combat!!! It's not unlike wearing a hula hoop with a buckle!!!

This belt has a plastic coating on the leather for the purpose of making it shiny I'm guessing. I have worn this belt for three weeks and the plastic is pealing away around the holes where the prong is inserted. Do not buy this belt. Very cheaply made.

Belt looks spiffy on my dress pants. It is not too wide to smoothly slide through the belt loops on my dress pants. I bought a belt two inches longer than my waist in order to use a middle hole instead of one on the end.

My waist is exactly 48". I have a tailor's tape so I know for sure. I ordered size 50, per their tip. They say "Belt size equals measurement ...from inner end of buckle to 3'rd [middle] hole." I agree; when I measured the belt, I got exactly 50" this way. But why would you measure like this? When you wear a belt, the hole the prong goes thru settles at the OUTER end of the buckle. When I measure this belt from the outer end of the buckle, the distance to the 5th (last) hole is 49". This belt is to large for me or anyone else with a 48 waist. I'm looking at a new belt that needs new holes to make it smaller and it will give me something like 7" of excess to deal with.I have no idea about those other reviews where people said they needed 2 or 3 sizes larger, except to say they were several years ago. Reading them helped me get the wrong size.

This belt was perfect. Simple, classic, sturdy and fits great. It was purchased as a gift for someone who hates shopping for clothes. This belt was exactly what he needed to finish an outfit for a special occasion and he loved it. When it arrived it was in new condition, didn't have any weird odors or scuffs in the marking. The buckle seems securely fitted and the sizing was exactly what had been advertised. I'll update the review after it's been worn if there are any changes. As of now, I plan to purchase another for his everyday use. This is a great product at a really reasonable price, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a real leather belt that looks a bit dressy.

This belt runs small, so I suggest ordering a size or two up. I am a 25-26 waist and ordered a 28...it was a very tight fit on the loosest hole. I returned and ordered a 30 instead, hopefully that will fit better.EDIT: I received the size 30, which paradoxically was SMALLER than the 28? I could not even fit this on the most loose hole. I like the appearance of the belt (and the price) so I'm taking a chance and ordering WAY up (36)...my fingers are crossed, again.I would say definitely be prepared to return for a new size with this item, don't purchase this if you absolutely need to wear it within a couple of days.

The two leather bewlts I purchased meet or exceed my expectations for a large man's belts. The stitching and finish of the leather and the looks of the buckle are outstanding. The blue and white leather belts are two hard to find colors for big & tall men. I am very pleased with my purchases and the reasonable costs I paid. The belts arrived on time and were properly packaged to avoid shipping damage. I liked the fact that Sportoli got both belts to me on time.

It was a completely different colour from what we ordered . My brother disliked it as did I.
