It is the best bread book out there and I have a few of them, but this is the one that is reached for time after time.

Excellent gook for the novice and experienced alike. The 100s of recipes are easy to follow and tasty, too boot.

Being a first time bread machine owner the recipes so far have worked for me and I am enjoying whats to come next.

This is the absolute best book ever on making bread. I received it with a bread machine as a Christmas gift and have made more than a dozen different kinds of bread from this book - every one came out perfect. I was so impressed with the detailed directions, special tips, variations and scope of this book that I can't stop showing it to guests. I thought I would make more bread with my bread machine if I bought this book, but I have to admit I still liking making it the old-fashioned way. The pictures are beautiful and the research is well-done for this book, so I still find it useful... but, if you are looking for a large, international survey of breads to make easily without a bread machine, Traditional Breads of the World: 275 Easy Recipes from Around the Globe is my top recommendation.

Comprehensive book ' covers just about everything bread related, A- Z.Only "con" is the book's small, compact size and miniscule typeset - necessitating strong magnifiers for my eyes.Others may prefer the book"s compactness - especially if they have extremely limited space

Tried and true recipes not so true

Good recipes from around the world.

Have already made Buttermilk bread in the bread machine (yum) and am looking forward to trying out many more of the recipes. This book is full of information on different breads of the world complete with recipes to make them, also covers different flours etc. I'm learning a lot about making bread and am sure this is going to improve future loaves!

I originally got this book out of my local library as I wanted some good foolproof recipes for my bread machine. I made a couple of excellent loaves from it and so decided to buy my own copy. There is a section specifically for breadmaker machines, but also a lot of the recipes dotted through the book can be made in a bread machine too. Includes recipes for just about everything you could think of, and the loaves I made have ingredient sets for 3 different sizes of loaf which is useful too.

Just arrived so I haven’t used it yet but there is a great variety of recipes, well laid out with good instructions. Can’t wait to try it out
