Very cool ideas. Just wish there were more everyday items and tools that could have been used. Definitely need to have major no doubt expensive tools for these crafts.

Provides some good ideas on different materials and approaches to "upcycling". Love the concept, and this book takes some of the intimidation out of useful projects. Also provides ideas on where to source the materials which is half the battle.

Very enjoyable book, I wonder if Max, as a child, watched my up cycled, TV series, titled button moon ... For Thames television, its amazing what you can do with bottles and spoons and plastic dishes .... But I must omit we never use scaffolding,wooden pellets... And plumbers piping,Lets all recycled ... Go on have a go ... using the book for very helpful tips and practical inventions

The inside of the book is fine however the external stem of the book is damaged will a rip at the top of the stem extending for about a cm and as a result it not suitable for giving as a present. Book arrived earlier than expected. Some neat ideas in the book which can be easily implemented.

Scant instructions and although some of the projects are quite cool there's nothing you can't find on the internet already. Lots of smiling pics of Mac McM - what's that all about? Disappointing.

Absolutely love this book and everything max does. It's definitely one for your collection and gives simple step by step guides for the first time upcycler!

I would not personally build anything in this book. I was more interested in techniques but these are few and far between. The projects would not fit in many peoples homes in my opinion.
