Great innovation, great customer service.
This XL version of the Morsel is perfect for reaching deep into freeze-dried food packets. However, that's not all it's good for. At first I thought it would be too long for regular use, but if you're using the fork and the spoon ends in the same meal, then it's really not - because you have just enough space to keep your hands clean by holding the utensil in the same place in using both ends. However, there is a smaller version available (7.5") called the "mini" for those who would like a shorter version.I have already used it on a camping trip, and the ability to scrape clean the inside of titanium cups or delicate non-stick surfaces without fear of scratching the surface is genius.Having also reached out to their customer service, they have been very friendly and receptive for product development ideas. All in all, a clever idea and made with quality products right here in the USA, make this a premier choice for your camping kitchen arsenal.

The Love, errr, Spork of My Life...
All I have to say is: “where has this thing been my whole life...”Just got back from a week in Death Valley and Sequoia Nationa Park. The Morsel Spork literally does everything it says. All positives and Zero Negatives about this thing.I did get two of them, one for me and one for my wife.Note: This is not a negative for the Morsel but rather my personal opinion about the serrated edge on the fork side. No, you really can’t cut easily into meats and such but it does work. If the edge was any sharper than it is, you would have a “Joker Smile” since it would slice through the sides of the cheeks. The Morsel does not do this so no worries. As all avid outdoorsy folks should know, have a real knife for the cutting.Again, this isn’t a negative and the Morsel still gets 5-stars.Lastly, I purchased the XL Morsel. Will get the smaller one and test that out.

Essential for Overnight Backpacking
I first got one of these several months ago and fell in love. As an avid backpacker it's perfect for dinners out on the trail. I really enjoy when I get to have a dehydrated meal on an overnight but the downside is when my hand gets covered in food trying to get the last of the meal out of the bag you cook it in. This spork is the perfect length for those dishes and it's super easy to clean. When I'm out doing longer trips I have a hard time cleaning my cook pot out and usually reuse a pack towel which I know can't be sanitary. The scraper built in is perfect for getting all the scraps out and since it's silicone, it doesn't absorb the grossness like the towel does.I bought another one for my sister because she loves backpacking as well but has had a hard time finding a cooking utensil that works well and is a color that she likes. This is certainly a superior piece of equipment you need in your pack next time you're out for the night.

Pretty sweet camping utensil - better than any other
I decided to test this beast out before heading out in the back country and I have been quite happy with it. The most striking feature is that it is actually the right size. Most other camping utensils are too short and designed for eating in your kitchen from a shallow bowl or plate, not the Morsel - this is long enough to use with your camping pot or straight from a dehydrated food pouch. Another thing I like about it is how study it feels while also having the soft edges on the spoon/knife/spatula side. Overall I think this spork-spatual thing is gonna be awesome to have on camping and back country ski trips.I also found that it does a great job cleaning out the last bits of food in your Tupperware or pot.

Too Good to Be True?
The look and feel of this product have far exceeded my expectations (which, considering the price, were admittedly high). It feels robust and I have little doubt that it will hold up to the typical abuse it will see on the trail and at the campsite. I was, however, a little surprised by its actual size. I feel like it could be about an inch shorter without losing any utility and make it more travel-friendly. Maybe my opinion will change when it's cold and dark and I'm trying to scrape every last bit of food out of a MountainHouse bag, but for now a solid 4-stars. Well done.

Morsel Spork
It's plenty long enough and well shaped to get the job done. However,I am concerned that the fork could poke a hole in my bag so I had to make a "cover" for the fork, something else to have to keep up with which will likely get lost.Item would be better if it hinged in the middle so the spatula and fork could nest and not poke holes in the bag.And it could be just a little bit lighter weight also.

I got a kick out of it, perfect for Stanley
Yes, just like the other reviews have mentioned, I got a kick out of it. Within 1 day after receiving it, I immediately ordered another one. If you did not get a kick out of it, just look at that child photo. It is that addictive. The cutler is BIG, BIG and BIG. I carries those Stanley Master Food Jar(24oz) and Zojirushi Food Jar(25oz). Stanley Food Jar is quite deep, no cutlery I own can reach that deep, this one easily can. Zojirushi Food Jar (25oz) comes with a big plastic spoon if you buy the one with the toto bag, but this cutlery still wins. Also if you want an honest opinion, get the Stanley Master Food Jar instead of any U.S. brand (hydro flask was completely room temperature after 24hs), Japanese Zojirushi is about 10C worse after 24hs testing, but it weighs less than 1/2 of the German brand. So take your pick.

Versatile
The Morsel is the perfect utensil for backpacking and car camping. It combines all the necessary features: a long edge for getting to the bottom of the peanut butter jar or backpacker meal. A spatula edge for “cleaning” your bowl, and the fork for when a spoon won’t work!I was tired of breaking the Light My Fire and being left with a stubby fork and spoon. The Morsel is better, stronger, and has more useable features.
