This thing isn't bad at all
This thing isn't bad at all. Probably not good for a larger person. A good handy exerciser for me. Takes a little practice to get a rhythm going, and it doesn't work for me if I try to make the pedals go completely all the way down on the down stroke, which means that I don't get a count of how many strokes I take, but since I really do not care about that, my 4 star rating stands. I'd even give it 5 stars if someone had brought it here and put it together for me, but . . . Yeah, it was a little tricky to put together, but satisfying for that reason; I'm no engineer. And I looked far, and did not find anything else in this price range that was suitable at all. I like this item.

Great home stepper
When I first got on it, I thought it was junk bc the steps descended SO slowly. I thought it was useless. BUT it just needed to warm up a bit. Now I use it every day, and itโs a great alternative since I canโt get to the gym. Iโm happy with my purchase!

lots of pieces
Time consuming to put together-need two people and instructions were simi clear-you can reach your level very fast and there is no more weight you can add so you are stuck with a small amount of tension for your workout-I guess its good for the price if you don't use it everyday you get your monies worth if you gonna use it every day you need to buy something else

Great stepper!
I love this and the results are showing! Great workout for your legs and gleuts! My only complaint is the display and settings are not super user friendly. But after I got it all set it works fine. Just should have been easier to customize.

Noisy Contraption
If squeaks and groans and whistles help your workout this is the stepper for you. There are several joints and they all seem to groan and squeak. The shocks whistle and the warmer they get the more noise they make. In short, this is a noisy contraption. If you like to wear ear-buds and they are tight maybe this is not an issue. For me it is. This thing is too noisy and I find it distracting.

Too Easy for Anyone who is reasonably fit
Better than nothing. Easy to assemble. Wobbly. Probably good for someone who needs a mild aerobic workout, but anyone reasonably fit needing a serious workout would have to spend hours on this thing set at maximum resistance. (This is from the viewpoint of a 5'11" 205 lb. 48 y.o. male who would rank his aerobic fitness as a 3 on a scale of 1 - 10). Bonne chance!

more cheap designed crap
lasted about 3 months, I'm 210 at 6ft used for light workouts in the morning (30mins-45mins/day) the stepping footpads are just attached with a screw into plastic those broke off after a month. The shocks themselves are also low-quality steel in the eyelets where they attach to the frame (came un-welded). The resistence adjustment design (slot where you move the lower shock forward/back to change the pull length) is a poor design as there is no lock to a position (just friction) welded it to make it permanent so it doesn't keep drifting forward.

customer
I bought this product. I spent 2 hours in assembling it. The connecting bar just could not fit. After several rounds' contact with the manufacturer, I found the hole was not drilled correctly. I am surprised that I found this problem earlier than the manufacturer. I am still waiting for replacement part to come.
