Two important things, most of the reviews on here seem to be about the first generation models, and while I saw one review saying that the real time alert alerts feature was removed in the app, according to the Play Store update log this was done temporarily while they worked on improving the way the system works, and I personally have had nor problems on that front, it's alerted me twice when the bluetooth connection got a bit shaky, but my RFID blocking wallet could easily be the culprit. Still, simply pulling the card just a bit out of the wallet reestablished the connection. As for some saying that it's not loud enough, that's probably a matter of personal preference, and you do need to take the form factor into account. I'm the type of person who loses and misplaces things frequently due to memory problems, and this beats out the Trackrs I was using in two ways, #1 being rechargeable and fitting better in my wallet, while the key fob is a lot sturdier than the tiny string that the Trackr uses (I lost one of those before losing my keys because the string broke!). Reason #2 is because you don't actively need to have the app open and in the background apps on Android, you can close it and it stays active as a persistent notification, whereas with Trackr I found it only does anything if I have the app open and in the background, which wastes more battery power than necessary, and isn't even aware of a Trackr that's lost battery power. That's not a good thing, as forgetting about replacing the coin cell batteries is easy to do. So this product took care of my two biggest concerns beautifully. Here's to hoping that I never need it, but now I feel a bit more secure.

カード型は最初から音量は期待していませんでしたが...思ってた以上に低く探し出す事は難しいです。キーファインダー型は其れなりの音量を期待していたもののカード型と大差無く使えません。キーファインダーはアプリから電池残量が確認出来ますが最初から半分程、製品管理が出来ていないのと送付伝票ではなく住所氏名プリントして貼り付けた状態、個人輸入品なのかもしれません。

a lifesaver indeed!

I purchased the set mainly for the wallet card which seemed to have design advantages over the competitors, but also needed a keychain locator. I have very little confidence that product will work when needed. The connection range on the wallet card is rarely more than one room indoors. I had my wife hide my wallet in my house to see if I could locate it. In addition, the card frequently disconnects when in close range and emits an alert, so the rate of false positive alerts when in advertised range is way too high.So here is the sequence of events. The reconnection speed after getting in range is extremely slow. After entering a room and getting the red lack of connection signal, I wasn’t certain whether the wallet with card was located in another room or I should wait to see if it connected. So after waiting 2 minutes, I left and tried another room. Another 2 minute wait. After about 6 minutes I finally got the green connection signal. However, the sound from the wallet card was so low, that you need a quiet environment to hear it. Wouldn’t work for example in a public place or even most workplaces where ambient noise can’t be controlled. .Probably would also be difficult to hear if dropped between couch cushions. The keychain locator fared better. The alert was louder and range was consistently better. Given the fact that wallet card was unreliable and hence unusable, I was left with deciding whether to keep the keychain locator (big and clunky also) or opt for one of the competitors.

I have a tendency to misplace my keys so I thought this product would be useful. The product has potential: the key chain is not too big and it's nice-looking and the wallet card is very small and portable. The instructions, however, were not clear. They assume a level of technological knowledge that I don't have. Right off the bat I had difficulty downloading the app. Then when that was finally taken care of, I noticed that the alert is not that loud. It's fine if I misplace my keys at home where it's relatively quiet but if I'm at work (a noisy high school), I don't think I'd be able to hear it. Overall, I'm not impressed with the product. The instructions need to be clearer.
