I bought two of these because of the reviews, even though they're pretty pricey compared to others. One lasted about two months and almost completely frayed in half (no my dog didn't chew it). The other one is just starting to fray. So i contacted 2 Hounds Design to get a replacement. I got an email from Leah. She asked for a photo of the harness. I sent it to her. Four days later, still no response. I email again. She asks for my address to email me the RMA. I send it to her. Twelve days later still no response. I email again. Both Leah and Suzanne send me the RMA. I'm now expected to pay shipping to send it in for "repair". I'm not quite sure how they plan to repair a ripped nylon harness. Are they going to bust out a sewing machine? I'm also not going to pay to ship it with their track record and the fact I already sent them a picture which should be more than sufficient. So I just went and bought another harness that so far has way outshined this one.

I have a 60 pound, 9 month old golden retriever and ordered the large in raspberry. I took her measurements and she was just in between the medium and large size. If you are not sure, size up as she is at the bottom range of the large and it adjusted to a great fit on her with plenty of room to grow.The harness is VERY secure and great for controlling a large, lunging puppy. I have MANY training harnesses (Easy Walk, Gentle Leader, traditional harnesses) and this is my favorite because of the versatility and comfort for my dog. If we are exercising out on relatively quiet trails, I can just use the back attachment for the leash. When we get to a more congested area and I need more control, I can also use the front attachment. This is very strong/sturdy and seems very comfortable for my dog. She cannot pull out of it and the straps stay securely adjusted. I fitted her one time, and have not made any adjustments to the harness even after 50 plus miles of walks with the typical exuberant puppy lunging and pulling. I would highly recommend getting the matching Euro Leash as that works great with this harness and can adapt to ANY situation. When clipped to the front, the harness greatly reduces pulling. I was pleasantly surprised to find that even when only using the back clip for the harness, that the dog also does not pull as much due to the Martingale design on the back strap attachment.Finally, I ordered the raspberry and it is a beautiful, vibrant color on my puppy. I love that this comes in so many different color choices and is, by far, my favorite harness.

The material used is not suitable for a dog harness, in my opinion. When I wrote the company, their response even said, quote: "It only takes a quick nip and once any part of the weave is compromised, it will continue to unravel along a pretty straight line.". They assume that your dog bit/chewed on the harness and that can be the only cause for the failure, even though this failure was on the chest strap which my dog could not reach with his teeth. I used this harness for only 2 months. The company's ""warranty", is a joke and costs $12.99 and you also have to incur the packaging and postage costs to send the harness back to the company. Check out their website for the warranty information. I am going to buy a different harness from a different company made of more suitable material.

The design and function of this harness is excellent, sturdy straps, easy to use, no complaints there. The major downside is on the medal hardware. I don't know what kind of cheap metal they are using, but the front ring rubs against the straps is oxidizing and generated a layer of black residue, and it's turn my white dog's fur gray in that spot! It's not external dirt because it's only on the area where the metal rings make contact, and it's mostly on the inside of the harness. This black stuff does not easily come off, I scrubbed the harness clean, and within a couple days it's all black in that spot again. My dog still has gray patch after 2 baths.

Amazing! I have been waiting for the harness to arrive and it did not disappoint.We adopted the most adorable 7yo 70lb pit bull from the humane society (who had a tendency to pull) for Christmas. I originally purchased the Petsafe Easy Walk harness since a pulling 70lb pit bull vs my 100lb butt was no contest (found this out the hard way). My butt got whooped every time. However, I had to return the harness since it has started to cut into his armpits and chest! Poor puppy...I did some research and found this harness with high reviews and decided to try it out. I’m so happy I did. After a couple of minutes walking with the harness on it was a miracle! No more pulling! I’m totally telling all my neighbors and friends about it. Thank you!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We were initially using an Easy Walk front harness for our pit mix, and though it helped with pulling, she kept getting her legs tangled in the leash. I like that this harness has the option of both front and back attachments. Especially because she doesn’t always pull on walks, and even when she does, the back attachment does a decent job at keeping her in check, maybe not as much as the front one, but it does the job. But like I said, she’s not an extreme puller.We ordered a size Medium, and I first thought it would be too big after unpacking it. It took a while to adjust, but it ended up fitting really well. Lexie is 7 months old, and probably around 40-45 lbs by now. With all the adjusting I did, this harness looks big enough for her to grow into, provided she doesn’t double in size lol. I also like that the strap that goes behind the armpits is made out of a velvety material, as I am hoping it will prevent chafing.Very happy with this purchase. Will update review if needed. This was the only harness I'd seen of this style where there were no reviews mentioning chafing or rubbing under the dog's arms so I took the plunge. I'm very glad I did, after fitting carefully to my large dog, the harness has performed admirably. If he starts getting too silly on the lead, I attach to the front clip, when he calms down, the lead goes back on the shoulder clip. It seems comfortable and doesn't bother him at all, even when wearing over his winter coat. I have not seen any signs of rubbing or soreness on his arms at all. Well designed harness, thanks a lot.

Have to admit after 2 years of trying everything to stop our dog pulling on the lead I bought this with a lot of scepticism. But it was like a miracle. it didn't suddenly turn my dog from a nightmare to an angel but it made him so much easier to control. when he pulls a gentle pull on the front lead just gently turns him. I think he feels as if we are more in control as he doesn't seem on such high alert all the time. It has turned out walks from something none of us wanted to do to something that we can now at least deal with.

Really disappointed with this .I ordered 2 of these as I already have the 1inch harnesses which weren’t available and are great . ordered medium again and as you can see sizing is totally different .I needed them so they won’t be going back .If they last only time will tell

Absolute magic.No idea how it works but it certainly does!My 1 year old dog was a menace for pulling with all harnesses but since getting this - harness only no lead - he’s been fantastic on the lead.I’m so so so impressed.

I've had one of these for my Patterdale terrier for 5 years, only replaced because a clip broke. It really works, it's comfortable and worn everyday without any issues. I definitely recommend if you have a dynamo like mine!
