High Quality, Impressive Power Washer
I purchased The Force 1800 in October 2015 to clean my cement sidewalk and 2-car wide driveway. I am impressed by the quality of the unit, especially the heftiness (strength) of all of the nozzles, the trigger gun and the lance which provides an extension from the trigger gun to the nozzles. I also appreciate the design of the unit from the standpoint that it operates horizontally and moves easily on its wheels with no worry about the unit tipping over like other units that operate vertically. The unit comes with three nozzles that fit securely on the extension lance: a right angle nozzle, a multi-function nozzle and a turbo nozzle. There is also a soap foam sprayer. The high pressure hose mounts securely in the trigger gun on one end and the pressure washer on the other end. After using the pressure washer a few times, I had to make sure that I had pushed the hose into the unit sufficiently else the hose would pop out when the water was turned on. So it is important that when you insert it, you pull on the hose to make sure it is engaged. The power switch consists of a push on - push off switch but does not provide an indication of whether the unit is powered on or not. A pressure water stream comes out of the unit when the power switch is on and the trigger switch is depressed. The power switch can be depressed with your foot. I initially used the multi-function nozzle to clean my sidewalk but then I switched to the turbo nozzle that produces a pulsating rotational water stream that did a better job of cutting through the dirt and grime. It took me several hours to clean my sidewalk that had accumulated dirt and grime over 23 years. I possibly could have done that job quicker had a rented a gasoline-powered professional pressure washer. While a one-time day rental might have been cheaper than buying this unit, I believed that I would need to rent a unit for more than one day. Also I would have the nuisance of traveling to and from the rental location before and after the rental. Furthermore, I intended to use a pressure washer again in the future. As a consequence, it made more sense for me to buy this unit as an overall good compromise of buying versus renting. I should mention that one item was broken during shipping. That item was a knob with a plastic threaded shaft that broke off from the foam soap sprayer. I contacted the vendor (Powerhouse International), and they indicated they would ship me a replacement item the next day. They indicated that they are working on the knob assembly to make it more robust. The instructions indicated that there is a thermal sensor to protect the motor against overloading. Despite using this unit for numerous hours in a row, I checked the hosing of the unit and it was not hot and never shut down, as does a shredder after a few minutes of operation. While it does come with a long power cable, I did use a properly sized extension cord to reach the end of my long driveway. I would certainly purchase this unit again and will recommend this to others. It is well built, works well, and the company is responsive to requests.

Three steps above a high pressure garden hose
UPDATE:Three steps above a high pressure garden hose and more on par with the type of pressure that you find at a self serve car wash bay.The power washer appears well built, it is very compact, which is nice if storage is limited, and the accessory attachments are useful, although I would say the brush is junk. Do not buy this if you are looking for a power washer to strip clean your deck or home siding. It is marginally sufficient to clean light staining on a sidewalk. It was useless at cleaning dirt residue on my Hardy Plank siding, unless I scrubbed it with a brush first, but then I could have just done that with a garden hose.Having worked with gas and electric power washers of varying degrees of power to strip decks etc, it is my unprofessional opinion the claimed max"1800 psi" rating on this washer is grossly over estimated. Alibaba sells an identical power washer with all of the same technical ratings rated at a max "1500 psi" which I suspect is the real rating on this power washer and even that is probably pushing it.It worked fine to spray the scum line on my boat's hull, and the soft growth around the engine brackets etc and I am sure it would work find for washing cars, but keep expectations in those perimeters and you will probably be pleased.UPDATE>>><<<<<Well after using this pressure twice, last year, it sat in my basement up until today when I pulled it out to spray my boat's bottom. After working for all of 3 minutes it just quit and right in the middle of my job! Boy does that tick me off! Another Chinese made POS, can't believe I wasted my money on this.So to recap, that is two uses and failure! JUNK JUNK JUNK

Highly recommended service! The pressure washer arrived within two days ...
I had a question before purchase and received a complete and courteous response from Nichole, the president of Powerhouse International, in a few hours. After the purchase, I had a few questions. Powerhouse International puts an orange sticker on the outside of the box with Nichole's email address and phone number and she responded promptly and courteously each time. Highly recommended service! The pressure washer arrived within two days and works exactly as advertised. It is very compact, much quieter than my previous Karcher 1300 psi unit, and easy to set up and maneuver. I believe the 1800 psi claim as it cleans better that the Karcher did. More power would always be nice to so you can deep clean a surface like concrete from 18 inches rather than 6, but I didn't want the mess, size, weight, and cost of a 3000-5000psi gas unit, especially for an appliance I'll use once a year.I haven't cleaned the concrete at the house since we built in 2008 and it's dark grey - nearly black. The back patio and front porch were knocked out in two hours each with The Force 1800 and the adjustable nozzle. The 90 degree nozzle, which I didn't think I'd use, came in handy for sweeping the liberated crud from corners and edge. Unlike my Karcher, it doesn't fall over when you reach the end of the pressure hose. You just keep going and it follows you, nicely. The quick disconnecting nozzles and hose are convenient and the pressure hose attachment location near the balance point of the hand unit is very comfortable. Others tend to attach at the butt of the handle. The pump stops when you release the handle, which is nice when you need a break…you get instant silence. It's a great unit and well worth the price. Perfect? No. More power is always nice. I'd like a wand that's about a foot longer so I don't have to lean over while doing concrete (but all wands seem to be the same length). A trigger lock-on device would be nice for my hands, but I suspect there are safety issues doing so.Strong recommendation, especially for the price. And GREAT customer service!
