We ordered this item for our 16-year-old son, who enjoys dressing up for church. Right after we ordered it, we received a personal email from the manufacturer, thanking us for our purchase, and including a PDF book of "classy dressing techniques" (or something like that :-)Upon receiving the item, we noticed a VERY SMALL scratch on the tie clip, on the front. So, at the CEO's request in the aforementioned email, we kindly expressed our findings about his product. He was quick to apologize, and promptly sent out an identical new (unscratched) tie clip, and urged us not to worry about sending back the old one. The second one was complementary, her said. I bought these as a quick solution for my husband to use while I shop for a nicer tie clip. He has a silver watch and also a darker graphite one, and cuff links to match both, so this set seemed like a great idea. It would have been, too, had the gold one not been scratched on arrival, and the black one not had manufacturing defects. There were lumps in the lacquer on the black one, so obviously that one couldn't be worn in public. The brushed silver is the only one of the three that arrived in wearable condition.I'm getting exactly zero sass from anybody about returning them, so at least there's that.

I bought this tie clip for my husband, who wears ties very reluctantly. There's a Big Wedding coming up, though, and I told him he needed an updated tie and a tie clip. He's 56 years old, he needs to stop having a tie flopping around like teenagers wear!I like the simplicity and finish of the clip. Don't know how well it works yet, but the spring definitely seems strong enough. The color goes well with the red or blue ties my husband favors.As a hobbyist jeweler, it has also occurred to me that the clip could have one or more small bezel-set stones bonded to it. That might look really nice. Hmmmm.....

Fits well under the keeper loop onto the tie blade, fixating the Robert Talbott ties to the Robert Graham shirts snugly without too much pressure to worry about shirt damage.Overall, it's a well designed, modern looking tie clip. It's my husband's first tie clip since we've (I've lol) started encouraging a a fancy work wardrobe. For the price of the ties and shirts, this was a pleasant surprise in quality for the price.My husband loves it and is grateful for not having his tie flap in his face from Vegas winds.The box it came in was a bit of a surprise, too. If it wasn't a neat little box to be reused, I'd say it wasn't needed, but the detail to packaging was well received.

I was excited to try this on as soon as I got it. It has a sleek, eye catching design and the whole design of the clip is very well formed and tight. Seems durable, great purchase to add to my collection!

Very nice style, good sleek simple look. Read a lot of review for clips with spring problems and holding problems so decided to go with this bar. It was the only decent looking one in the lot! After buying it I received an email about the proper way to put it on and the way it is designed and it was very helpful and nice. It was right the bar looks best between the 3rd and 4th button and at 3/4 length, it would look bad lower and if the bar was longer, very stylish and goes with any set up!

It works. Not as well as my previous all silver one that I lost. I wish it was longer. I also had it wreak one of my ties because the ends of the metal are too sharp. It nicked the fabric of my tie when slipping it on and tore it. It looks sharp and keeps stuff in place but I wouldn't buy it again.

I like this product. Tie bars are hard to find in the retail stores that usually have a very limited stock of alligator tie clips. I not too impressed with the size of finish, but that’s irrelevant because I only need the bar to keep my tie in place. I like to place the bar so it holds my shirt and the narrow end of the tie. The narrow end of my tie goes in the loop so everything holds in place. This works well because the tie bars are thin and not as bulky as clips.
