Unfortunate cast, but clean image
I purchased this to use in conjunction with the Formatt-Hitech ND 1.2 (4 Stops) filter. When using my 4-stop filter by itself, I get a slight color cast, but its easily correctable. The tricky part is when I stack this filter over that, there is a heavy magenta cast in the area where its stacked. It can be corrected using the Lightroom graduated adjustment tool, but you need to be comfortable with that if you plan to use this. Its a shame because I really like using the combination of ND + Grad ND. Once corrected, it is a pretty clean image whereas my images were degraded from using an adjustable ND filter before. I will probably still use this, but if I had a do over, I would look for a set that doesn't give you such a strong cast when stacking.

Does the job but may affect clarity a bit
This resin filter is very nice especially for the given price. It works well and didn't change white balance in my initial use.One thing I notice though is there is a slight degradation in clarity when shooting through the filter as opposed to no filter.I guess this is expected. To get best clarity, I may just continue to shoot raw and then adjust my image during development (basically reducing exposure by a few stops to recover some of the lost highlights and add a fill flash to bring up the darker areas).Second point is that you will need to get a pouch for it. The cheap plastic cover it comes in may end up scratching your filter.Hope this helps.-Danflickr.com/inspiredan

UPDATE - not color neutral after all
I'm sorry to say that this filter is not color neutral after all. After a few more uses I've found that it adds the same magenta cast to color photos that Cokin ND filters tend to add. I'll keep it for B&W work, but that's all.Original review:This is my first resin filter (I already have a glass Singh-Ray 2-stop ND), and I was keen to see how it compared with a glass filter. The good news is that the filter arrived in great condition, has solid reusable packaging, and is color-neutral. The only minor annoyance is that it doesn't fit in my Cokin holder as securely as the glass Singh-Ray ND. If you do use this filter with a Cokin type-P holder, be sure that it's aligned when you insert it, as otherwise it won't be held securely.

I really like this P Series filter
I really like this P Series filter. It holds up well under travel and doesn't produce any unflattering color casts so far. S till need to work with it and my other filters, but I was very impressed with the Formatt-Hitech filter at such a reasonable price. Next one I want to get is their infrared. Should be hoot!

A must for landscape photography!!
This filter was suggested to me by a professional photographer for my recent photography trip to Colorado. I will never leave home without it now! Very well made.

scratched!
i spent a little extra money for a GND filter because i've experienced some easy scratches on cheaper kits. i don't know how, but soon after i bought it, i pulled it out of the sleeve and saw one huge streak that totally ruins any picture. i guess i'll have to be creative on how to use that streak to my advantage...
