Central America 1:1,100,000 Travel Map (International Travel Maps) (English and Spanish Edition)

I was disappointed that this map was not laminated the way other maps I've purchased from the same publisher were. As a paper map it tears more easily. I needed this mostly for Nicaragua, but unfortunately that country is split between the front and back of the map. I later purchased the National Geographic map of Nicaragua which is laminated but only has two countries (and more details than this map).

Not enough or no detail for the places we visited in Costa Rica and Panama.

Solid feel, easy to read, not too big, not too small. This is why screens can never (completely) replace good old fashioned printed maps.

This map seems durable and is very detailed... although we have yet to test its endurance! We plan to use this on our road trip through Central America.
