Truly unique
Purchased this knife in my quest to find an heirloom quality knife that could be carried in my front pants pocket, being a collector, I have a lot of knives,I carry a skeletool on my belt for the handy pliers and screwdriver, too much weight and pulls my pants down,or have to wear belt too tight,so weight is primary concern, don’t get me wrong there is solid “heft” to this knife but not overly heavy have had Texas toothpick, wears a hole in pocket,my little buck two blade has been good but hard to keep an edge and the old timers and case folders everyone has ,wanted something different, this is what I was looking for!now to the knife, what a awesome piece, one of the nicest I have ever seen, from the scrollwork on the back edge,to the beautiful steel,it is truly a piece of art,is it really 150,000 year old wooly mammoth tooth, tusk,or bone handle?sounds not too likely but you never know,by the sheer beauty,I will take their word for it!thats what I am telling anyone who asks anyway, will keep posted on the longevity of holding an edge, but I don’t think that will be an issue,if you are looking for a small quality knife you ca n brag on and show off, youwon’t be disappointed!everyone that has seen it has been impressedOnce again seeing is believing on how nice this piece really is,so to finish”WOW”

Vrey pretty and good quality
Really like it, very nice knife. And very small. Nice workmanship. Did I mention small? All in all I'd buy it again.Would have been a 5 if there was a guarantee of authenticity on the mammoth ivory. I believe, but friends? Very wary.

A lot of knife for its size.
This knife is worth every penny of its price. It may be small but the blade is very thick steel with a nice edge on it. The craftsmanship is top notch. Every part is assembled with care to achieve a smooth working knife with no wable and play in the blade. The knife weighed more than I expected. The scales are beautiful and well polished. They feel solid in the hand. I wish there was a way to tell if they were real mammoth tusk. I guess you just have to trust the maker on that one.I am proud to spend my money on something crafted by hand by artisans who care and aren't off somewhere in a far off land just knocking stuff out. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this if you are looking for a small knife that is going to last.

Collectable and Functional
I was impressed by the quality of this piece. I found great craftsmanship and unique style. The Damascus blade is extremely sharp, strong enough for small chores yet not too long so you can keep in its pouch around your neck. The handles I chose are of Mamoth Tooth, slight imperfections... which indicate most likely genuine material. The workmanship on the gold jumping stands out! I had a small issue on the sheath, but after emailing my concern, their client service is awesome! I would give 10 stars if possible! I will be getting another knife soon from here!

Cute, but lacks functionality
Pros: Beautiful backbone, handle, and Damascus patterning. Packing was pretty good. Came in a nice little box perfect for wrapping. Feels like it won’t break the first time you use it, and blade was decently sharp. Leather on holster is good quality.Cons: so tight that it literally bruised my thumb and finger trying to open and close it. Does not open or close smoothly. I will let my husband use it for a bit and see if it loosens up after use. If it does, I will edit my review. There will be no one handed use of this knife. Size might be a problem if you want to use it for anything other than opening an envelope. I saw the dimensions when I bought it, but it is even more diminutive than I imagined. It is smaller than my index finger. I’m not sure that my husband will be able to use it at all with his larger hands. The leather pouch is a joke. The knife doesn’t fit inside well, and if you cram it in, it distorts the leather so badly that it won’t hold the knife securely.Bottom line: Keep looking. There are far better knives out there for the same money. This knife is so hard to open, it won’t be convenient to use. If you just want something to pack in your pocket that looks nice, but is never used, this may be the right knife for you.
