Bougt this pallet as I have a lot of watercolor tubes lying around and find it wasteful to squeeze out the paint out of tubes for a specific project.Also using a pallet allows me to use a smaller amount of paint, and as a result obtain lighter colour values.I got for Christmas a different pallete for watercolours, but I much prefer this one, as it has smaller wells and the tilted well design again allows you to control the amount of pigment you are using.Also love the availability of 2 smaller mixing areas and the 2 bigger mixing dishes. The detachable mixing dish maxes the cleaning supper easy.The only drawback is that the mixing areas get stained easily, but this is the case with all plastic mixing pallete.

I brought this as an extra pallet for my watercolours that don't come with one and it works perfect for that. It is a little bulky for small pack travel, but it honestly doesn't take up that much space regardless (or it might be that my watercolour set is a little on the big side.)I haven't tried with acrylic paint since I have something else to keep that from dying out and a different pallet, but there is a seal around it when you close it, so I assume it will keep it wet for a short while.The pallet is big enough to have many different mixes of colour (as seen in the picture). I don't need to worry about cleaning it to mix other colours like smaller ones.Overall it is a great product and works as intended.

My wife uses a palette sitting in the chair when painting people's pets and says this device is superb ion both size and quality of item.

I really like this palette, comes with an additional removable palette tray inside & I'm using it for gouache.But the grey handle bit broke off :( I think I can try to put it back in but it's kind of difficult

Useful paint palette that I enjoy using for my watercolour artwork. I do keep some half pans inside, so deep enough for that. I have found the detachable inside tray useful too.

Great product, kept all my acrylic paints from drying out
