Great value shooting bag set! Really good product
Really solid product for the $$I bought these on a chance as I had planned to construct some of my own. However after seeing these and receiving them there is no way you could make such a nice set for the money. Time allotted and materials would surely put a person above the costs of this set if a person were to make a bag set at home.Features:-The bags are constructed very well and the interior is coated with a PU to both keep sand / material and provide strength-There is a faster type buckle to clip the small rear rest bag to the largest bag, however there is not a clip on the Medium sized stacker bag. Not really an issue as if I am bringing sand bags I dont really plan on losing one.-Each bag has a velcro closure fold over fill hole that works perfectly to add media of your choice.-The two larger bags have a nice suede cover to not harm the finish on more elaborate rifles.-Stacking the two larger bags allows for usage of AR style rifles with longer magazines with no issues.-This set would also work acceptably well for pistol stabilization as wellFill / media:-I chose the .5 cu ft pea gravel in a bag from Home Depot which cost about 4 dollars after tax.-It took roughly half of the pea gravel to fill the 3 shooting bags which has the bags weighing in over 15 lbs approximately.-I chose pea gravel over sand as no matter how good the sewing is on and type of bags, eventually some is going to get out and be a pain in the backside.-Pea gravel will stay contained and really anchor the bags well.Performance:-I have set these up for a dry run at home and the seem to work very well and sit great on a table.-Line of sight is good and very stableOverall:-Cant be beat for the price.-

nice product, but ...
Nice bags. Good heavy weight material, one of the advantages to filling the bags yourself is that you can fill them to your specific needs (hard or soft) using whatever media you like. Remember that this will be adding some minimal costs to the total of the product, but it's nice to make your own choices. I used a combination of rice and kitty litter which works nicely, not quite as heavy as using 'all sand'.The ability to stack or combine the pieces because of their various shapes is a plus too. The front and rear bags have a clip that keeps them together. I think they should have made the small rear bag and the auxiliary bag attach together, the big bag can get pretty heavy by itself. Now the "but". When I received the set, on the bottom of the large front bag is a strap that I assume is a handle to carry the bag. This strap was incorrectly attached and was frayed, I ended up just cutting off the strap.Poor quality control. fyi - it is "Made in China" - surprise! The 4 stars is because of the lacking quality controlNot worth the hassle of returning product and getting another one, the product still does it's job.

Good bags for the price.
They are a great buy for the money. I'm not going to say they are as good as the name brand bags. They are close but not exactly. I filled my set with washed play sand. Working on third day (consecutive) using them. Noticed small amount of sand left behind on every surface the bags visit. Dumping the sand and am going corn cob media route. Would I buy again, yes.Couple day later update. Shot roughly 460rnds off bags yesterday & today. I got real sick of the sand leaking out. Was going to go the corn cob media route, but had some silica crystal cat liter already (have a cat). Works great, took about 5-6#s or a little over one and a half bags of those crystals to fill all thee range bags. Lost all the weight of the sand I didn't want, moisture issues of rice not a problem. For a real great price for the liter hit your local walmart $4 a bag! Here is the exact brand (also sells on amazon but for a little more). Shoot 'em Up
Well, for about $20 you can't expect an in-depth quality product testing program. The material seems to be pretty durable, sewn together well, and the Velcro fastening system is good, but the stitching could have been better. Because it really latches together, it takes an effort to pull apart. So much so that if it is not gripped well, it pulls apart from what it is sewn to. I would suggest carefully separating it by working it apart with a butter knife or similar object. Work it apart enough to get your fingers in the hole. I wound up sewing it back together using fishing line. Fortunately, I spared the other enclosures after the first one. But there is another issue. If you are using a muzzle break on your rifle and it is not far enough forward of the bag you are resting it on, don't be surprised that the air blast rips the bag. I was resting it on the larger bag when it happened. Duct tape to the rescue and it is holding now. There are many suggestions as to what you can fill the bags with. If you use a corn type feed, be sure it doesn't contain any sugar products like molasses. I ended up using bird seed. It's not heavy like sand, firm enough to form to shape, and fills easy enough using a funnel. And, if you forget, and blow a hole in the bag, birds will love to clean up the mess.

Inexpensive with a flaw
I was looking for decent shoot bags but felt the prices were a bit steep for some of the name brand bags. After all, they're a bit like glorified sandbags. These bags are decent for the price, but you have to fill them with your own media. I chose sand, which gives them much heft and provides a very stable platform. I definitely noticed an improvement over using just my range bag. I may try some larger media next like rice or crushed walnut shells to see if I can get the rifle to "sink" in to the bags a bit more. The only downside is that the smallest bag came with a small rip in the seam. Had I not made range plans with others the next day, I would have exchanged the defective bag. Some glue provided the necessary fix.
