ELECJET Magnetic USB-C PD Adapter, Compatible with MacBook Air Pro M1 13", 15", and 16", Type-C Cable and USB-C Connector

I've always been jealous of the awesome magnetic adapters that macbooks have had. It's such a great safety feature and works so well. Now, thanks to this adapter, I can have the same features on my windows computer.I was very skeptical about this adapter at first, especially regarding if it would work as well, and if it would be able to support power delivery over USB-C, as many cables and adapters aren't able to do power delivery well. I'm glad to report my skepticism was unwarranted.Pros:- Very nice, and strong magnetic snap. Magnets can hold my heavy, braided USB-C cable to my laptop while it is in the air.- Excellent power delivery. No slowdowns in transfer or charging speed when using this cable.Cons:- If your ports are close to each other, such as the newer macbooks and my HP Spectre, you may find it a very tight fit to use the adjacent Usb-C port while using this adapter. I can just barely fit another device in, and I doubt I could use 2 of these side by side. I would like to see the next generation of this product be more offset to one side in order to enable the adjacent port to be more accessible.- I wish there was a way to buy just the female end, so that I can have multiple cables with the magnet on it while snapping to the 1 male end which is connected to my laptop.Overall, I'm in love with this cable. It's a fantastic addition to my laptop, and provides extra safety and convenience. The only thing to watch out for is clearance if you have 2 ports very close together.

I just got my purchase two days ago. The reason I bought this product is that I miss the convenience of MagSafe. Since I usually work outside, I am so afraid that other people will trip my cable. Sometimes I trip over the cable and nearly cause a dangerous falling.I am charging my Type C 2018 MacBook Pro with this adapter right now. Charging speed is stable and magnet is strong enough. I can easily connect and disconnect it. LED light is lightening so that I know it’s working. To be honest, I think this product is wonderful for fans of MagSafe. Apple is not gonna bring it back, but this is a great alternative to let us keep the benefits of MagSafe.Product wrap up:High Quality - Magnet is strong. Charging speed is stable. Easy to connect.Fast charging speed - There is no energy lost while charring with this adapter. The charging speed is the same as using original Type C charger.Data transfer & video output - I seldom transfer video, but this is definitely a plus for being a multi-function product.Safety - No need to worry about being tripped. I think this is the most essential and purest motive to buy this product.I will recommend this adapter. It’s stable and working right now. If there is any problem in the future, I will come back and give a new feedback.

I had an earlier MacBook Pro that had a MagSafe connector, which I loved. I was sad to lose that on my new MacBook Pro 2018. Then I discovered this little treasure. I know some say about it being a little to big to use the port next to it but I don't use that many plug ins. When I need extra ports I have a charging bar for the opposite side that has all the ports I need. So for me this is perfect.I find this to be very handy. The magnet works really well and charges my MacBook quickly. It is almost like having the original MagSafe. I have been using it for a couple of months now and I would definitely recommend it.

Works as advertised with regards to charging and power, I have not tested data transfer. I bought this for a ThinkPad T480 that has a loose USB-C port in order to increase its lifespan and take off some of the strain. The connector doesn’t fit flush against the laptop casing because the casing isn’t flat, that’s not an issue of the product but of the laptop. As such, it still wiggles, but less than just a regular USB-C cord.Putting some of the O-ring style flat stickers it comes with can reduce wiggling and help with flush-ness, but do be aware if you don’t have a laptop with a flat sided USB-C port area.I also tested it on a M1 MacBook Air and it works great, fits flush since the side is flat, and provides enough clearance for the other USB-C port so you can connect another cable.

The product makes good first impression, but disappoints in longer use. The good: the product works, the magnetic connection is strong and reliable.The bad:- The plug sits far too tightly in the port. I tried using it with various devices (multiple laptops, a phone, an ipad), and once the plug goes all the way into the port, it's virtually impossible to remove it except by wiggling it out slowly using some sort of a prying tool. One of my plugs fell apart while doing so. That said, the plug is only practically usable if you don't ever intend to remove it from the device.- The magnetic part that goes on the cable features an alignment ring surrounding the pins. This ring is painted silver, but is made of brittle plastic and breaks away easily. Once the ring is damaged, the magnetic parts are no longer easy to align.Out of six pieces I ordered, two have already fell apart. Overall, if you're okay with the limitations listed above and don't expect to use the plugs on the go (where they're more likely to be damaged), then you might be happy with the product.

For the past few days I've had the pleasure of using this 20 Pin to USB C Magnetic Adapter. It works extremely well with my brand new Macbook Pro 2019 16" and fits perfectly with my i-Blason rugged case. It also gives me just enough space to plug in an additional cable and sticks out roughly a millimetre so that the cable has good clearance of my case (shown in photos) for a quick and easy magnetic click into the pedestal base.Overall, this is a 5/5 star purchase, and I am extremely happy with it. I will not be able to attest to the durability of this adapter as of yet, but I will be sure to update this review if I do experience in issues with connectivity, and or durability of the adapter.Update: It's been well over a year now and my experience with this adapter has not diminished, still a strong magnetic click, good hold and tight fit with no wiggle. I've actually purchased 2 more of these for my iPad Pro 12.9 2020 version as well as a new Macbook Pro 13" M1 for my wife.

LG gram 13Z980をUSB Type-Cでドック(2560x1440を2画面)に繋いで使っていますが、ノートPCを持ち運ぶ度に、USBを抜き差しする必要があり、USBコネクタの耐久性を心配し、こちらの変換アダプタを購入しました。ドック経由での2画面(2560x1440)表示を問題なく表示できていますし、PowerDelivery充電も問題なくできています。以前は、同様製品で3,000円弱するものを購入していましたが、こちらは2,000円と安くお得です。Surface Goにも使ってみました。問題なく使えますが、Surface Goのデザイン(若干台形に形成されている)の為、コネクタとSurface Goとの間に若干隙間ができ、抜けやすそうな気がします(余り問題にはなりませんが、気になる人は気になるかもしれません)。こちらは、Surface Goの形のせいですので、PC本体の形が将来変わるといいと思いました。

It works great, once connected it stays connected if you set it up on a desk. The magnet isn't strong enough to handle any torque or bend in the standard MacBook Pro 2019 16" USB-C cord - it must be straightened out before connecting it.The magnet that stays attached to the computer is bulkier than I expected, but snaps in super tight. I haven't tried removing it yet, but suspect it'll be a challenge.The USB-C port next to it only works with really narrow cable connectors - like the original one that comes with this computer.The LED looks great from the side, but from the end (we usually have it plugged in so the LED faces the front of the computer) it looks cheap and glows and reflects off of the metal enclosure.Would totally buy again given the price! Functionality matches the price.

先ず一言だけ。多くのデータ転送出来ないというマイナスレビューに。充電ケーブル以外は絶対に抜けてはならないのでは？ マグネット？では改めて。MacBookPro2016。Type-Cコネクタ部の劣化が当然懸念される中気付けば2年半抜差しし続け。。現在4ポート中1つはケーブルに触れただけで一瞬接続切れたりとアナログレベルの接触不良で最早tb3で無く只のAC。電源ポートとしてギリ使用可能修理せずに済ませるべく講ずる改善策として簡単かつ確実と思われるマグセーフティ化ざっとリサーチ。思いの外多い選択肢にこの機会に手持ちの充電式機器総てに適用する事にし、先ず なんだかんだ多いmicroUSBの充電端子の製品。お試しには手頃な物ばかり、またお得な端子セット販売も多く 他社製品ですが(Z社Gen5)セット購入してみたところ 期待以上に満足いく結果でありました。その為につい…気を緩めてしまい、後となった今普通に考えよく見れば商品の表写真そのままであり製品情報全て提供されている上に 他に同様の他社製品2つあるのですが3製品中これだけ半額近くでやたら安く お買い得になっており何かが悪いとすれば買った自分でしか無く自分に対しかなりガッカリしています…この製品ですが写真を見ての通りのサイズの為 MBP15incの場合、隣のポートはかなり細い端子(usb2.0グレード以下)のケーブルでない限り塞ぐ事になります。差し込み口側の大きさも相当有るのですがギリ隣潰さない範疇。デカ過ぎるはケーブル側のアタマ。必要性無しでただ無駄に飛び出ている為にモロに干渉します。どうにもならない大きさ…20ピンもあれば当然ですね。その一点。全て台無しの大きなマイナス点。…以外はうっかり高評価出来る使用がその一点が全てで、でもその点はバッチリ写真通りであると言う。何で？Magセーフティでなくなった2016以降のこのMBPがキッカケで生まれた製品な筈。なのにサイズ対応出来ていないと言う根本的な大前提違えると言う 絶対あり得ぬ筈の為 理解不能の域あり得たとしても デカすぎて隣確実に塞ぐと見た瞬間気付く筈で…ただただ理解不能なんで？メスC端子部などのハマり具合など腹立たしい程にカッチリと澄んだ音から伝わるアップルよりも精巧な作り。計算と技術共に高度。ますます理解不能。なんで？マグネットも大きい分強力ですがちゃんとリリースされます。着ける時あまり雑だと斜めになりますが問題ないレベル。充電72%〜100%までしましたが速度問題無く、また熱を一切発させていません。ただ、写真の通り無駄にデカく隣潰すだけ。なんで？因みにヤスってみた所Gen2、tb3のゴツいチップ入りで無ければ…確認の為に敢えて購入したGen1のケーブル端子なら普通に使用できる様にはなりました。ケーブル側の端子の緑LEDが透け透けになって妙に明るく眩しくなる…安全性に関わるので絶対にしないようにお願いしておきますが。
