this product is not real it is home made out of a Helios lens it is over priced there are cheaper options if you don't want a real anamorphic lens I recommend you dont buy the seller is not telling you this product has been taken apart and tampered with

Great RE-HOUSED LENS - Keep in mind that Rehousing lenses aren't cheap.
I've purchased the Helios 44-2 58mm vintage lens. Yes there are cheaper options out there, but I've yet to find one rehoused so beautifully. I saw a review where the person wrote ," seller is not telling you this product has been taken apart and tampered with." If you were to visit their site, you'd see that they are very CLEAR about their process to rehouse the lenses they have available. They also mention that it is "home-made," and that's not accurate in my opinion. A lot of the machinery they use to create the casing for the lenses...90 percent of people do not have at home. It performs like any great condition helios lenses, and are modded the way you'd like. If you want an anamor-fake filter or the inside painted, that's an option. Check their site if you want accurate information. Yes their are cheaper un-modded, non-rehoused helios lenses out there, but I've yet to see them like this that are available. They also offer cine-mods. If you don't care about cine-mods, or the housing, pick up another lens for less.
