It's perfect ! Your not getting through mydoor. No you cannot accidentally lock it by slamming the door. You'll have to police or 911 to get this door open.

Easy to install, looks nice, matches my door knobs beautifully, and I didn't have to chisel any part of my door jam like so many others. I feel much safer going to bed at night as a single young woman.It works very smoothly and can be opened and closed with one hand.

I wanted an extra lock that I could later remove that would not leave holes in my door. This product was easy to install and screws into the inside of the door frame. It works great and is lightweight. I would buy this again.

I put one of these on each of my 3 doors, and never took more than 3 minutes to install one. They provide loooong screws that go deep into the door frame holding it secure against force. Once installed, they are easy to disengage, and look good with our brushed nickle door handles. I highly recommend this product!

Didn’t install as this particular lock is too flimsy for our needs. We have a little guy who is an eloper and need a lock that will be strong enough for an exterior door. This is NOT it. Returned it which was an easy process through Amazon.

I love that my little guy can't open the front door and just take off if I'm in another room. It was super easy to install too
