Very nearly perfect.
This is an excellent product, and superb value for money. The mic comes neatly packaged with everything you could possibly need for your first vocals/commentary booth. The build-quality is of a very high standard, and the assembly of the various components is quick, straightforward, and stress-free. Once set-up, it looks and feels professional, and is frankly far more impressive than something so reasonably priced has any right to be!But of course, all that would be meaningless if it sounded like crap. Luckily it doesn't. It sounds fantastic! The pop-filter works a treat, which is a good thing because this mic does prefer a close-up vocal without too much distance between mic and person. If you get too far away (and I'm talking merely a distance of two feet), you need to push the level considerably, which in turn increases background ambience. But up-close it has a lovely rich sound. For such a small financial outlay you really can't go wrong with this product. Happy customer here. Highly recommended.

Awful sound, awful build, awful microphone!
The appeal behind this microphone is the price - a condenser microphone for less than £30! Yes please!I bought this microphone knowing entirely well that it was not a good microphone, I'm an audio engineer and I intended to use the microphone as a trash mic - a microphone that's purposefully bad placed near an element you're recording with the intention of warping the signal later down the line.Even then, the microphone is just so catastrophically poor that it's unusable, the added accessories are nice, but when you consider the sheer economy of the package, it just means less quality and budget on the microphone - and it shows. It's cheap, the metal grill around the capsule unthreaded after unboxing and regularly cuts me whenever I go to pick up the microphone, the sound itself lacks and substance and is all concentrated in the high end. It sounds tinny and lacking.Do not buy this microphone unless you intend to abuse it or use it for material, it's not worth your money and you're much, MUCH better off saving a little extra and getting a microphone with some actual value behind it.

Great product
The microphone:The microphone is great and works really well compared to my older one and has really good sound quality -rate- 10/10Stand/brace:The brace is good quality but can leave marks on desks because the pad slips on the desk and comes off really easy, if you stretch the stand out it can begin to come off the desk so you have to brace it down really tight.-rate- 7/10The rest of the items like the muffler and microphone holder is as expected and does the job well-rate- 9/10Overall rate I would give it is 9/10 because of the marks and the brace slipping.I would like to add that this is really good for value and would recommend.

Excellent Using An XLR Connection
So this mic is excellent, but ONLY if you use it through an audio interface with phantom power & an XLR cable. The cables that come in the box can produce hissing/crackling & are terrible. I get compliments on discord about my mic quality despite this being £35.stand is okay, a bit flimsy but everything together is a good deal to me

Good but bad... please read before buying!
This product is good if your only looking for something cheap and on a budget buy, I advise you to get something more expensive tho as the higher price the higher to expect and that’s correct I didn’t expect much from this mic I just wanted to see what it was like and I expected it to break, after a couple times of using it the mic started to not record and make loud crackling noises instead of the voice recording your trying to lay down, this mic is only good to make like 1 song and then get it gone... if you are looking for something that will last you long term then this mic is not for you, it would last a month at the most! For £40+ tho you can’t go wrong but if you want better quality with everything for example audio, sharpness, recordings... then you want something like a rode of even better! If you have £100+ get a mic with that you will not regret it! Getting something cheap even if it’s your first time you will regret it deffo!

Excellent Sound Quality
Great product with fantastic sound quality. The accessories are not up to the job, the arm is not strong enough to hold the weight of the mic so drops, the plastic washers cross threads and can not be tightened if the washers were made of metal some of the problems would be solved. My advice if you want to raise the mic off the desk look at alternative mic stands which is my next purchase.

XLR connectors and phantom power
I really liked the sound reproduction from the microphone, there are two points to watch out for, the first is that the keys on new XLR connectors are smaller than on older XLR cables but this is easily over come by buying a new 1 metre XLR female to male extension cable such as the UGREEN XLR female to male 1 metre extension cable. The new connectors will fit the older connectors, but if you try to plug the female connector of an older XLR cable in to the male connector on the microphone it won't fit properly.Secondly because the microphone is a condenser microphone it needs a 48 volt phantom power supply, which luckily my digital interface unit for recording on to my lap top has this. I'm very pleased with the kit and would recommend it to any one who is new to podcasting etc, etc.
