This is what I needed to be able to do more then just put a turkey on a hook and lower it into my Big Easy. I can now do chicken legs as it says this is made for but a steak can also be put on it to grill. Now it it also possible to bake potatoes. I think this is going to be handy.

Worked well. Slides off easily and drops to the bottom of the grill.

I purchased 2 off the bunk bed baskets. First off, these are NOT stainless steel. They are chrome coated steel. Secondly, and this is the bigger disappointment, they don't function well in my original basket. Maybe I have an older basket that wire rings are spaced closer together but the hooking part of the bunk basket doesn't easily fit between ring layers. I have to lower the bunk bed handle and pull it out around the upper ring for it to drop and hang. This negates the practicality of being able to reach in while in use and hot and pull out the bunk bed without the whole basket coming out. I'd have to pull the whole basket out of the chamber to play with getting the bunk bed unhooked and out. That's not the way they are supposed to work. I've watched videos on people using bunk bed baskets and they work real nice -like as the handles do not extend too far from the hooking in the wire. The manufacturer of these bunk bed baskets has either failed for functions purpose of my original basket is an older incompatible make for these bunk beds. I'd be tempted to try a DIY fix and bend the handles inward but I know that I'd succeed more in damaging the chrome coating and shorten their life more than already expected. Useable but ultimately disappointed in the purchase.

Bought this for my husband as a gift since he'd received the Big Easy Oil Less fryer a few months back.We'd experimented with a few different configurations of meat in that magical unicorn of a cooking contraption, but DEFINITELY needed something 1/2 way up to leverage the full vertical space. Our ghetto attempts at a solution included a couple of wire coat hangers woven through the center (eyeroll but it did the trick ... sort of), which was better than just stacking a couple of chickens, but made the insertion and removal pretty high on the danger scale. And SUPER high on the "ease" scale.So I tracked down this bad boy bunk rack thing. And it's pretty dang handy. We cook in the fryer at least a couple of times a month, and when we do, we try to make enough for leftovers or additional meals for the week, so yeah ... this thing is well worth the $.

Fits the Big Easy basket well. Have not used yet. Allows you to place a roast in the middle to top portion of the regular basket. By manipulating the lifting handles you can place the basket at various levels. Takes a little Yankee ingenuity but not hard to figure out.
