This arrived in a smashed box with no instructions inside...the only instructions given were on the back of the box and The photos and text on this item, was SO little, you couldn't figure out what you are supposed to do...It certainly didn't look neat and smooth and clean like the photo...it was poorly made, rough looking and very hard to even open the tool...in fact nothing opened, pulled or whatever else needed to be done, easily....This was a total waste of my time and my money....I would have been better off buying a more expensive version. (Apparently it's NOT wise to trust the photos used for some of the items sold here) Lesson learned....

This Beadalon "Wire Twister" is a good tool for jewelery makers wanting an easy way to uniformly twist wire. Having just started to experiment with jewelery making, we are getting the basic tools needed and think that this is a useful addition. Here are my observations:Pros -+ Easy to Use; (there are videos on YouTube)1) secure one end of the wire(s) on a nail or in vice2) grip the other end of the wire(s) in the pliers jaws3) lock the handle in place4) grip the silver cap, pull tight, and let go of the pliers body5) pull the cap to twist6) grip the pliers body7) repeat from Step #4 until the wire is twisted the way you want it+ Versatile; can be used as pliers and wire cutters+ All Metal; should last a long timeCons -- Oily; had to wipe it down to remove the excess bad smelling oil- Poor Instructions; tiny, incomprehensible instructions printed on the boxThis is useful for doing fairly short lengths of wire but I also have a  Dremel 7300-N/8 MiniMite 4.8-Volt Cordless Two-Speed Rotary Tool  for doing longer lengths.Recommended!CFH

Must have tool for all wire jewelers! Makes twisting wire so much easier and you get a consistent twist. Much better than having to pull a heavy drill out.

Clamp to hard to lock. Not a great quality.

this is not even a "hobby" tool. the tool you will receive is not as pictured. i am not sure if that was the best of the failed bunch but it is not an accurate description. the nose of the tool is broken. instead of melting it down for scrap some company over sprayed epoxy on the tip to cover up the fact that the pliers do not close properly. even with the excess paint on the nose you can see light in between. this is not acceptable when your sole purpose as a tool is to hold and spin narrow gauge wire. i bought this tool because of the reviewers stating a tight lock was an issue thinking i would have the opposite problem i received.this is junk. click the back button and surf away. if you want to buy one.. go to a popular bidding site. they are everywhere.. for good reasonps. amazon, this is getting ridiculous. some quality assurance is necessary at some point. this is not the first time.pss. i wrote the current phase manual for the UH-1n airframe.

Cheap quality (does not have a very firm grip or adjustable tension) but it does get the job done, 100 times better than by hand. I wouldn't buy another one of these models but I'm not going top replace it until it's worn out so take it with a grain of salt!

Me gustó mucho para torcer el alambre. Facilita bastante el hacerlo. Las instrucciones demasiado pequeñas pero lo busque por Internet. Pero el precio de oferta estuvo buenísimo.

Bit of a mix up with the order but sorted effectively by the seller. Good value and works well for the limited use I am going to give it - Made in China.

I had bought 2 wire locking , and the quality of it is very bad it is broke from first use. I dont prefere any one to buy this tools. And i return it for more then 2 weeks and I didn’t get refund.

Esta pinza es bastante útil para torcer cables o alambres delgados, trae un mecanismo que hace que gire la pinza a efecto de torcer el alambre. Trae algunos detallitos en los acabados, por eso le di 4 estrellas. Esta pinza se la compré a mi esposa y esta satisfecha con el producto.

Solo tuve que quitarle un resorte que para mí ,le sobraba y bueno le falta filo en la parte de corte en lo demás cumple con su funcion
