I was very satisfied with these clamps. They have a lot of spring tension, as compared to the cheap imported clamps found in the big box stores, but not too much tension to be impossible to use.Glad to see there are still some high-quality American made products.Highly recommended.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could
This product is much too difficult to use. I can barely make the clamp open using two hands because the spring is SO STRONG. That makes it worthless for me. My husband agreed that they were much too strong for a woman to be able to use, yet I found nothing in the listing for this item to indicate this issue. I am returning them!

Excellent clamp.This latest purchase I believe, gets me to 24 of the various sizes available.Please know what you are buying; the "inch" size pertains to the clamp end opening. (clamping capacity) Not the overall size.

Literally impossible to open
These are impossible to open without a he-man to help you. I'm a small framed photographer who needs clamps to hold up backdrops and general usage. They need to be heavy duty which is why I bought these. However they are SO heavy duty I literally cannot even open them with one hand. I have to use two hands which means I can't hold the thing I'm trying to clamp. Unfortunately they're going back.
