I have combination, acne-prone, very sensitive skin. It easily gets red, bumpy and itchy. But this Biore is mild enough for me to use every day. I still get a few bumps but very minimal. No redness, no itchiness. The texture is like water base gel moisturizer. It never leaves white film on your skin or gives you the feeling of clogging.However, I don't feel like this is the greatest sunblock. I live in LA and spend a lot of time outside, so I never go out without sunscreen on my face. Until last summer when I was still using some other brands, my face always looked so pale comparing to other parts of my body (I don't put much sunscreen on my body). It looked funny without makeup but was actually satisfying because that meant the sunscreen was really blocking UV. But right now, my face isn't pale... Although I have only used Biore since last fall (it's May right now), LA has sunny days throughout the year and I already have tan lines on my shins from wearing capris.I think this product is good enough if you spend most of the day indoor, but I'm not sure if I would recommend it to someone outdoorsy or for the beach day...

I brushed off all the talk about how Japanese sunscreen was better for years. Surely sunscreen is sunscreen and it'll still smell bad and make me break out, I said.Nope. This stuff is different. It really IS better.It smells a bit (kind of citrusy?) when you first apply but after a few minutes I can't smell it at all anymore. It doesn't make me break out, which ALL American sunscreens do. It doesn't form weird little white flakes in my boyfriend's stubble. It is superior in every way to US brands. It's more expensive than the cheap stuff but less expensive than my previous fav, Kiehls Superfluid. But it's WAY more comfortable and less smelly than Superfluid.It is amazing and you will not regret it.

This is the best sunscreen, I work outside a lot but have sensitive skin so it's hard consistently wearing sunscreen because I don't like dealing with the break outs, rashes or hard to remove white cast after application, so I opt for physical barriers. I heard about this from a woman at work, I wish I had known about it sooner, it's amazing. It's like a light lotion, that sinks in and gives you full protection, it has a faint chemical smell but what sunscreen doesn't. It lasts for a decent amount of time and it's worked great even when swimming. I feel like I've stumbled on the sunscreen of the future. Seriously wish I could just pick this up at any store here in the states!

Really does feel like water! This sunscreen is definitely the best one I've found so far. It goes on like a lightweight moisturizer, unlike most of the facial sunscreens I've tried in the past that are either super chalky and flake off as I'm putting it on or are so oily I can see myself shining before I even step outside! It also smells really nice and not like sunscreen at all. So far I've been using it as part of my daily routine and I haven't had any issue with acne breakouts either. Hoping this will help prevent sunspots too as I live in Florida and I'm constantly under the sun. Definitely would purchase again once I run out!

It spreads on very easily, isn’t greasy, and doesn’t smell bad at all. It’s the first sunscreen I’ve liked for my face after trying a ton of different ones because it doesn’t have that typical sunscreen smell and goes well under makeup. My only problem with it is that it’s not an environmentally friendly sunscreen (bad for the reefs). Wish I could find a reef-friendly one with this quality!

I love this stuff! I will not buy any other product for my everyday face sunscreen. It doesn’t leave a yucky film at ALL! I only wish it was a bit more moisturizing - it leaves my face a tad dry, so I have to wear a moisturizer as well. Maybe one day they’ll make it more moisturizing and it would literally be the perfect product. I’m so glad I found out about this sunscreen!

If you don't like greasy sunblock, try this. It works and you will forget you are wearing a sunblock. This doesn't make your face WHITE.

I'm a fair skinned bald man. This is hands down the best product I've ever used. It is a superb head/face sunscreen, keeps my head from burning, isn't greasy, no white residue (it's a great lotion, not chalky/white like most heavy duty sunscreens). I've been using this product for about four years. Love it!
