Pioneer PetSticky Paws for Plants Cat Deterrent

I needed something to discourage my cat from getting into my plant and getting dirt every where and ruining new growth. If you are looking for something that is not a spray, this is a great product. I have two cats and it has only taken one attempt from each to nip the behavior in the bud. I've used this not only in my plants, but in my baby's bassinet. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is for the amount of strips in each package, I am going to have to order some more. :)

Works well for what we needed and did keep cats from using as litter box.

I purchased a lot of sticky paws of different sizes when we got our new kitten. On the whole, Sticky Paws is absolutely GREAT. That said, this particular style wasn't any better than using the regular strips in the same fashion on the plants. Instead of sticky paws we used seran wrap around the bottom of the plant, covering the liner, and the kitten never goes in it. When she actually got inside the plant we used the old classic method, a spray bottle, which worked very, very well. Sticky Paws are expensive so we reserve it for areas where it's really needed, and use other methods whenever they'll work as well.

The product is easy to use and it's a great idea. Unfortunately, my cat discovered that if he sticks his paw to it, he can pull it out and then shake the Sticky Paw off his paw on to the floor. He managed to remove three of the strips before I caught him. I ended up using the Sticky Paws tape and taped over the majority of the top of the planter. That worked!

This is a product that I had to have patience with. At first the cats were determined to figure it out and made a terrible mess with soil but now 2 weeks later they are essentially leaving the plant alone. I think that the cost of the product is too much for the product itself.

My two cats pull them out and play with them. They did work for a while but curiosity defeated them in the end. Fortunately the cats have found other things to explore and leave the plants alone now.

Did not work as expected, or cats were smarter than the strips. Was disappointed
