KarrimorWomens Mount Low Waterproof Walking Shoes

This is the second pair I have bought: the first I bought in a shop as I needed to try and find a comfortable replacement for my old hiking shoes, and needed to try some shoes on. I was so pleased, that I went on Amazon to see if I could get a second pair. Perfect fit - size 8 with 2 pairs of socks. Seem weather proof - at least walking through wet long grass. Really comfortable, no need to wear in (something I never do anyway - should be comfortable from the getgo!). Nice colours - my first pair was navy, and neat enough to wear with jeans as a casual shoe - and bought this black pair to trash on walks with the dog!

These are great. Super comfortable from the first wear and really sturdy which is what I need.I wish the grip was a bit better in the ice but otherwise happy with these.

I bought these walking shoes for a hiking trip in the lake District and they have now become a wardrobe staple for me for any walk I go on. In the lake District they kept my feet fully dry during a very wet 3 hour hike over farmland. They are very sturdy and great for walking on uneven land. Highly recommend.

Seem ok.. have to break them in over the next few days and will update my review.. karrimor has been my shoe of choice for years and having to leave the galaxy ones at home well worn is breaking my heart.. they are so comfortable but not able to get them anymore.. what annoys me about trainers now is that no arch support is included so the soul is very flat when you put the shoe on.. I have inserted my own arch supports so dying to try it out tomorrow.. I am a size 6-6.5 and ordered 8.. fit well with thick socks that I like to wear and feel comfortable.. they are slightly heavier and not as flexible as my old ones.. hopefully that won't be a problem.Speedy delivery & well packaged.Update.. well I have walked many miles over the last few days and for most of my walk very uncomfortable.. I had to stop several times to tie the laces then the side of the shoe was digging into my ankle. I find the insole very hard on the feet when walking. I have inserted insoles from my previous pair that helps a little. I am still trying to get used to the extra weight on each shoe..100g x 2.. hopefully I will break into them otherwise it's the nearest charity shop for them.

Don't know how many pairs of these I've had over the years. Excellent quality, very comfortable, I virtually live in them!
