Andget® USB External DVD Combo CD-RW Burner Drive Silver

I really like this for watching movies or putting in CD's, but I haven't been able to burn things to it. Not sure if this is just mine being weird, of if it's false advertising.

Bought this to accompany my laptop which did not have a CD drive. No installation issues and works well. Plugs into USB drive and operates as a normal CD drive would. Great quality for the money.

I bought this for my new computer, which lacked an external drive. I used it once to install some software, and then didn't use it again for about a month. When I tried to use it a second time, it had malfunctioned. Yep, that quickly, after only one use!! Please don't waste your money on this item. It is of very poor quality. It is pathetic that it quite working after one use especially when I had safely stored it.

I bought this for my boyfriends laptop which doesn't have a internal CD/DVD in it. I thought this would be the prefect gift. Unfortunately it didn't work at all. He followed the directions but the laptop did not recognize the device. Is it too late to return???

Worked as announced. :D I used only once but I could play a CD that I wanted and the installation process as very easy.

I have a windows 8.1 computer and this worked. Because I have no dvd drive I did have to install a dvd player app VCL. This player does not always work on first insert, I usually have to eject and put the cd or dvd back in a few times but they it works, I think the drive has an issue adjusting on where to read the cd. Either way it does the job and was cheap so I can't complain much.

Works great even compatible with my new iMac running OS X 10.10. You must have both Usb cables hooked up for it to work.
