I have bought my mosaic tiles from Hobby Lobby in the past, but now that we're in quarantine and I wanted to begin a new mosaic project, I went searching for other vendors. I ended up settling on the 3lb mix and was a bit nervous about the variety that would be included, since other reviewers hadn't all been pleased. I got the package today and weighed the bag on my kitchen scales and got 2.5lb as a readout. That is why I've given the product a 4 star instead of the full 5. And it could be that my kitchen scales are off, but the bag they were in was chock full so they didn't have space for the remaining 8oz. I am VERY HAPPY with the variety included - so many more shades than I've seen available at Hobby Lobby. The package was shipped promptly and arrived in great condition. A couple of broken tiles, but that's not a problem since I plan to break them anyway.

These mosaic tiles were exactly what I needed! I ordered the green ones and the neutral ones. And somehow I ordered the exact amount I needed! For a small table that I made I used 3 lbs of each color. They turned out beautifully.

The color I chose is "dark blue mosiac tile." I got the 7 pound amount for a project I'm working on. 7 pounds covers a space of about 6 square feet, but it would cover more if you leave room for grout, which I did not. The tiles are not too thick nor too thin. I was worried about adding weight to my project, but the tiles are thin enough to apply vertically without adding a ton of weight. These are thick enough to use for flooring without worry. They are as thick as 2 coins stacked together and none were chipped when they arrived. The back is scored for better adhesion, and the fronts are smooth. The colors are beautiful. I will be buying these again for sure.

Just what I was needing for my mosaic. Easy and fun to work with. Only a few where broken but I was going to cut them anyways so it wasnt a big deal. There are actually 5 different shades of blue, two being vary close so you really have to look but was perfect for the projects Ive been working on. Shipment took a little longer then I would have liked but all things considered not the worst thing in the world.

I recently took a beginner mosaic class, and enjoyed it enough to want to start doing it on my own. These tiles were just what was used in the class as far as size and thickness, (and as described by manufacturer). The bag provided a nice assortment of colors to get started. I was pleased with the amount of tiles you get for the money.

To save money, I decided to try buying my tiles in bulk. This is by far the best deal I've found on Amazon, and the tiles are high quality. They're separated in bags by color family. Some of the colors I wouldn't have picked myself, but I'm glad to have them on hand (and it's pushed me creatively to have so many options.) The tiles are large, high-quality, and easy to snip. However, I've done several larger pieces without snipping the tiles at all. Would definitely purchase again.
