IT WORKS!!!!
I am the world's worst at keeping house plants alive. This little gadget lets me know when my water sensitive bonsai is dry and needs to be watered. Loved it so ordered more in different sizes.

These work fine. But you should buy the longer ones. Remember these only last about six months.

Works great. I'm not killing my plants by over watering them anymore.

Work if you want to tell if the soil is wet, doesn't work if it moist
It works if you want to tell whether your soil is really wet or not. But probably easier and cheaper to stick your hand in the soil. Doesn't really work well with moist soil.

Plants thriving
I have used this with a new bonsai tree, which has thrived since following the water/don't water indicators with the device. The only downside is the cost considering it has to be replaced every six months or so. however if the plants continue to survive then it is a good investment. I have also bought the larger water indicators, these work ok but with larger plants the watering cycle is not so critical.

Not accurate
I followed instructions given with the device (in a very small print). The only time it turns blue is when you water the plant and then it goes back to white.
