A Flop.
I purchased these cover dots because they were on sale. I typically get SmartMed acne cover dots on Amazon but they are a little more expensive. Probably because they work.These patches seems to be missing the hydrocolloid portion. Aside from being incredibly flimsy, difficult to peel off the plastic sheet backing, and too easy to fold onto itself, these patches also absorb nothing, as they have no evidence of any hydrocolloid on them. They make a decent translucent cover for a blemish but then I think they ultimately just prevent the pimple from getting oxygen and healing.Unless what I received was a factory defect, I would not recommend these to anyone for anything beyond a temporary cover for a blemish if you are not brave enough to wear the more noticeable and more effective version by SmartMed.
