The volume would go up down on its own very frustrating, then tried to manually use and took it wouldn’t go

Couldn’t get it to sync with RCA TV
We couldn’t get this to sync with our RCA TV, no matter how many codes we put in.We really needed it to because the tv either has to stay on all of the time or you have to play roulette to see if you can get the power button to work on the TV.
