Pack x6 Trailing Trailing Lobelia Blue Star® Hanging Basket Plug Plants

I got these for my hanging baskets, I'm a bit late for seeds this year and needed something that would grow a bit quicker and was already established. I'm a bit late with everything for the garden this time round. I love my hanging baskets though, they make a real difference to the outside of the house, make everything look spring like and welcoming.These plugs come in a case like folder. The plugs all looked healthy and had plenty of established roots, and the leaves that had grown were well established and also very green and healthy looking. Not dry at all, as the condensation kept them going in the post.There are no complicated instructions, just pot them up into loose-ish soil and water as usual. I checked them this morning and nothing has wilted so I have high hopes for lovely healthy flowers in a few weeks.I tend to bulk buy trailing lobelia for the filler, then different flowers for the main show. This keeps the look together bit allows for a lot of variety and the blue is absolutely gorgeous in full bloom. The last lot I bought lasted two years with no attention at all (bad me) and really bushed out, so you don't need more than one (two at teh most) in each basket. I thought these were a really good value buy, especially as the prices of full growns are ridiculous this year and I'm too late to sort my own out.

These arrived perfectly packaged and before ETA. great service by the seller. I was really quite nervous when I got these as it is important that they are a success for the body of my hanging baskets. Having read the reviews, the majority being success stories and happy customers, a few did say that these plug plants only lasted one night and died. Being a novice gardener, and still in the learning process, this made me very anxious. I potted them immediated in 9inch pots, then went on line and asked if I was better off keeping them in doors until they flower. The advice was varied, so I put 4 pots on the sunny window ledge in the concervatory and 2 pots on an outside windowsill. On retiring to bed, I had a little chat with them and told them that I wanted to see them still alive the next morning and went to bed. The very first thing I did when I awoke at 5.30am was check on them. Relief !!!!!! They looked just the same as they did the night before. So AT THE MOMENT ALL IS WELL. I intend on leaving them where they are for the foreseeable future until I feel confident to continue with the process before they are planted into hanging baskets. I am expecting some white lobelia's today and in view that they too had one or two negative reviews, I will do exactly the same with them. So far so good. The poor living plants arrived over 5 days or more after dispatch and the sender knew this on dispatch so in what condition would anyone expect to receive such plants??? They were barely alive and, although I planted them in a high quality soil, watered them and generally looked after them, none of them survived. I was given a refund from the seller but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER! I suggest they dispatch their plants and ensure arrival within 3 days.

I ordered 6 plants, but there were only 5 plants in my package so I sent the seller a message with photos and a refund for 1 plant has been arranged. The 5 plants I received are strong and healthy and growing well.

After a shaky start because the packaging had fallen apart, these lobelia plants have settled down. One of the six was beyond redemption. The other 5 seem perky enough.

These plants came with good growth and a healthy root system. They were £3 more expensive than a pack of 6 I purchased from a local garden centre but these ones look a lot better.

I have ordered plug plants before and they haven't always come in the best condition. These were in great condition, still moist and the packaging was very good, plants look healthy, good roots. Would order again
