New Margaritaville Adirondack Chair Jimmy Buffet's" It's 5 O'clock Somewhere"

The box said it was easy assembly but it took my husband and a friend over 3 hours to assemble. We feel the box should say what tools are necessary for assembly. The directions were not clear enough. Some pieces were assembled backwards and then had to be taken apart and reassembled.In removing the bottom part of the chair from the box, our friend actually pulled the bottom slat from the chair and we had to use wood glue and longer screws to replace the slat.The chair is loved by our friends who we gifted it to. But for us it was not worth the price.

Yes, It has to be five o'clock somewhere everyday and this chair is perfect. Very nicely painted and high gloss. Study construction and easy to assemble. Packaging was excellent too..... got to love it: It is paradise found in a beautiful chair!

This chair is too cool. Looks great on our deck. It is well made and very solid. Impressed with the high quality finish on the wood. Quite comfortable also.

this chair claimed to have a one year warranty but after only a few weeks the paint on the chair started to flake despite being kept under a protective cover for most of the time.i contacted northern leisure and they did nothing to resolve this, they referred me to the original manufacturer.the original manufacturer did not sell this chair to northern leisure so they would not offer a warranty.do not waste your money buying from this amazon seller like i did.not a happy camper :(

We purchased two of these chairs last fall, so do not know if the "new" chairs are of better quality. The chairs arrived in good condition, were relatively easy to assemble and all parts were in the boxes. Over the winter we stored them in our enclosed porch to protect them from the weather. This spring I applied two coats of the Minimax Spar Varnish as recommended by the company, including the bottoms of the legs. (I contacted the company by email this spring to confirm care recommendations and followed the instructions.) The chairs dried for well over a week in our garage. We put them outside for the first time, on the brick patio, after the temperatures warmed in late May. After about a week, with no use, they show cracks which appear to be as much in the wood as in the paint. The cracks have begun on the slats in the backs of the chairs. We have another Margaritaville chair that was purchased and given to us as a gift at about the same time. Same story. What a huge disappointment! The chairs look very attractive but are of extremely poor quality. Truly a waste of money. When you pay for something like this you should be able to use it before it starts to deteriorate.

I bought 2 of these chairs in the last month. One arrived in a totally different color format than ordered. I'll live with it, but the other (all blue) showed cracks in the wood and paint after 2 weeks. This is nothing but Chinese junk. When you call Rio Brands the best they can offer is some screws. No replacement parts and don't even try to get them to tell you the paint info so you can touch it up. Theses are made in China and there's where the secret paint formula (my ass) resides.
