solid design, worked great, easy to clean
The only thing i dont like about this is the 2 handed operation, having to feed it into the cutting blades with one hand while turning it with the other. It isn't a big deal considering the designs with the threaded hand crank for one handed operation are all expensive, heavy, stainless steel ones with limited cutting blade options.

and fun, than I had originally thought
The spiral slicer is more versatile, and fun, than I had originally thought. I must admit that I bought it to slice potatoes so I could fry them into fancy chips. Now that I have reviewed the recipes in the e-book, I realize how much more I can do. I might just trick my son into eating more vegetables!! By the way, clean-up is a breeze-- a big plus in my book.

Something to keep me healthy!
We’ve been eating healthier for several years. We wanted to find some interesting things to make which are lower fat, carbs, and gluten. This spiral slicer makes real vegetable pasta, and the bonus eBooks have lots of healthy recipes and health tips. The machine has quality parts and is easy to use. We’re thinking this would be a good gift for several people we know.

Not a long lasting "machine"
I love spiralized veggies but this produced a large center piece that needed chopped, did not keep veggies centered, spilled an uncontrollable spiralized vegetable all over, had teeth brake on the 4th or 5th usage, and the suction cups did not adhere to my counter reliably! All in all it was a worthwhile experiment but this product is not the one to try - invest a bit more for a more stable spiralizer from a store like William Sonoma where the product is returnable and replaceable if broken!

I used this for apples to go in little tarts. They come out wonderful. Can't wait to tryit on veggies.

Best new tool in my kitchen in ages!
I've used spaghetti squash as the base for spaghetti sauce -- but never dreamed of using zucchini. This is such a great kitchen tool! Now I can disguise so many vegetables and put my homemade (bottled with added ingredients) sauce on top and all they notice is the same flavor and I know they are getting better nutrition -- gluten free!
