Eaglemoss Hero Collector - USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C 10-inch Oversized Edition

*Edit* The Enterprise C is not a Playmates model, where you can fly it around and play with it. This version from Eaglemoss is heavier and the nacelles are more flexible/bendable, which means, probably not a toy to play with, unlike the Playmates model. STILL, it's an excellent addition to any Star Trek enthusiasts' collection. The length of the model is around 10".This product, to my surprise, is more fragile than I thought. The engine nacelles are slightly bendable, so after I put the ship on the stand, I left it alone. Hopefully, the other ships purchased are a solid piece, like the toys we played with from Playmates from childhood.The ship is BIG! Bigger than I thought, roughly 10" in length. I always enjoy the bigger ships, so I will be definitely adding to my collection the XL variations from Eaglemoss.Definitely a well-done product. Worth the buy!

This is an XL model. The model is bigger than advertised. Almost 1 foot long .it dwarfs the standard collection enterprise C, and is bigger than my XL 1701D galaxy X. For the most part the same paint and plastics treatment that was done on the standard was also done on the xl model. The windows look better on the xl .There is more detail in the registry number than the standard. I only have a few issues with it. The separation is visible on the star drive section near the deflector dish, but it is not a visible as it is on the galaxy X Xl. The impulse engine in the back of the neck is painted blue not red . It should have been a red plastic piece being that this is an Xl. The registry numbers are not placed in the correct spot on both the nacelles. They are off centered and are almost on the top of the nacelles instead of the sides. For the most part a good looking model very few thing wrong with it. My biggest gripe is the magazine. It does contain info on the ship . However most of it was recycled information from the standard collection magazine. The magazine was more about the episode yesterdays enterprise , rather than the ship it self. It would have been nice to see an article on the ship rather than the episode, which was recycled information we already got in the standard collection. For price I paid, I got this on sale was about 20 dollars cheaper than normal. I do recommend picking this up it still a well done model . If I were you I wait till this on sale to pick up.

A nice addition to the "Enterprise" Collection that I am putting together. Only gripe I have with this piece is the transparency of the deflector dish. The color is nice, but seeing a support inside takes away from the overall appearance. Only reason I rated a 4-star.

Love this model. Eaglemoss makes great products. The detail and size are amazing. A must have for any Star Trek fan. Comes with a magazine inside the box. No complaints
