The first thing you want to do is not the best thing to do
I like how the author Felicia Vine set up this book. The book is about getting your ex back but first off she has us go through the reasons you might even want that person back. We take a look at who the dumper and the dumpee is and why the break up happened. What about them attracted you in the first place. Was there a balance in the relationship? Only after you’re sure you even want them back do you go into the 17 steps which cover things like not making contact for a month, dating other people, getting active with your own life and not rethinking your decision, among other things. And the last part is handling the reconnection with the ex.

Concise and Well Written
This book has sensible, realistic and grown up advice to help you decide whether you do, actually want your ex back and if so, how to handle initial contact and beyond. How long should you wait before making contact is explained here, along with the reasons for it. Suggestions for what you should do during this time and how first contact is made is also covered, as is setting boundaries for your future relationship. All of this will give you the best possible chance of succeeding with a happy and fulfilling relationship.

Good, solid advise
Overall it’s all solid advise. It’s really more of a pamphlet and not all well edited. I also just finished it so I have no idea if anything will come of the advise. Hence, 3 stars. What I do really like about the “book” is that while it’s titled to get your ex back, it’s really a breakup survival guide. If you do all of the steps, in order as directed, you may find that you don’t want your ex back. You may find and fall back in love with yourself instead. I’m going to share this book with my therapist.

Excellent . . . . .
Extremely intelligent message from this author. She attaches your emotional IQ to your end result. I decided I didn't want my ex-back, but still I wanted to know what was involved for women who do. Based on the author advice, I made the right decision. The author's approach is reasonable, productive and intelligent. I highly recommend.

Very Good
I really liked the authors down to earth, and practical ideas. She encourages the reader to be strong and wise. Allowing your emotions to rule over you during a breakup can be disastrous. There's some good advice that makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

Really good book.
Disappointed that the ebooks suggested at the end were not available. But it's sure helping me get back on track and learn to move on. Wish there was more info on the ex partner starting a rebound relationship soon after break up, then getting engaged :(

Not worth it
This is a more like a pamphlet than book. It’s literally just papers glued together. You can read the whole thing within 15 minutes. Nothing stood out to me in the text. Would not recommend

Interesting tips!
Getting your ex back is a hot topic in pretty all friends circles. Because breaking up with someone you really really love over something tiny and timely doesn’t make sense after a while. When you feel like you love them way too much to let them go, you realize its too late. Or is it? ‘No contact rule’ is basically just a rewording of the phrase ‘playing hard to get’. That is what this book mainly preaches if you want to get your ex back. I am not sure if this technique works all the time, but according to the author is pretty effective.
