One fatal flaw - the screen is COVERED by black plastic. This makes it so dim, it's impossible to see. Even in a dark room, with all lights off, it's just BARELY visible. It's impossible to use without the screen, because of all the modes. I tried to cut out the plastic, with a dremel, but that proved to be impossible too. Such a shame, because other than that, it seems like a good recorder, and it's MUCH smaller than the picture shows - it's keychain sized.

Voice recorder is cool gadget. Lasts a long time before needing to be recharged. Will fit in the palm of you hand. Decent sounding playback

Don't waste time and money.

Today is September 30 and I wrote message to the seller, the “eogo” on September 21 through Amazon.ca but no one responds to me so far.I had also contacted the Live Chat of Amazon.ca on September 28 but the rep only aimed at working out the refund procedure instead of helping to contact the seller to resolve my concern of making this device worked to fulfill my expectation to purchase it in the first place. Problems with this device are in the followings.First, the LCD is very dark which does not display any information clearly on the screen. I have tried to read the information on the screen indoor but very difficult to figure out what is on the screen. It becomes even more difficult to read anything showed on the screen under the sunlight. With not being able to read any information on the LCD, I am not able to tell any of these functions, including the Multifunctional Voice Recorder, Music Player with Internal Speaker, Step Recorder, Voice Activated Recorder, Time Display Audio Recorder, etc., provided by the device. Hence, I am not able to tell whether all of the functions are working or not, or whether there is any more problem with the device or not. I need any expert from your end to help me figure out how to resolve this very major problem. I have already charged it for a few hours when I first received it and I assume it is not related to low battery.Moreover, when I plug it to the computer to try to import music from my computer, it stops working all of the sudden by itself from time to time. I have to plug it back to the computer again and again in order for it to work again.I look forward to hearing back from the seller, the “eogo” or from Amazon.ca to help with resolve the problems I found from the item sent out to the seller, the “eogo” days ago, on September 21.A very frustrated customer from Vancouver.
