Great To Crisp My Linen Bedding
It took a couple of goes to get it right but here's what did and didn't work for me. Trying to add the powder to the machine was a no no as it's impossible to know when the last spin cycle is. Putting it in the conditioner drawer also didn't work. What worked for me was filling my sink with warm water and soaking my duvet cover and pillow cases in about a third of a packet for about an hour then spinning it. A bit of a faff but it works. Most people know that this type of stuff isn't like spray starch so don't expect it to be as effective. DON'T tumble dry your items after soaking in the starch as it breaks down the effect of the starch and you'll feel no difference in the fabric. I hope this helps someone.

Very good laundry starch powder if you are looking for one
I didn't get a good result when I prepared the starch and added to my washing machine cycle as described on the product. However, I got a fantastic when I added to a bucket with additional cold water just before sun drying my clothes. No smell, easy to use and quality starch

Overpriced corn flour (starch)??
It is probably my fault, but I didn't know these laundry starch products are actually predominantly made with corn flour (or corn starch in the US). At least, this product's package says: "Ingredients: Maise Starch". Normal corn flour is much cheaper (e.g., £1.30 for 500g at Tesco now). Maybe this one has some other ingredients, then I would like to see them clearly stated for safety reasons. Maybe the starch in this product is 'premium'? I don't know... I am yet to conduct an experiment to compare this product and supermarket corn flour.Anyway, I would praise the manufacturer for showing the ingredients on the package, as some other brands even don't do that. Also I am a prime member, so I got this product really quickly, which was the main priority.HOW TO USE IT (for laundry starch): There is no instruction on the package, I think, but I looked up. I read many people saying putting diluted product (as in paste) in the detergent drawer compartment would clog the washing machine badly. Some suggested you should simply throw the product (as it is) directly into the drum at the rinse cycle. If your washing machine doesn't allow you to open the door once it started, then you can finish the normal washing cycle first, then start the rinse cycle only. The amount to use is... something you have to learn through trial and error! (the good thing is you can wash it off if an 'error' occurs). I think I used 3 tablespoonfuls for half a load (my machine is 8kg), and the effect was on a weaker side, but there was no residue. It's important to iron while the item is still damp to bring up the crispy effect. If you need more crispness, you can actually make a spray starch with this product, by simply mixing it with tap/filtered water and putting it in a spray bottle (remember to shake it before use).

Not good first time used.
I've only used it once but I think I need to mix it with a little water into a paste before adding more water, as the clothes used came out blotchy. Will try again.
