Sizing Issues, but Otherwise Nice Collar
I bought this collar for my heeler puppy when she was about six months and about 25 pounds. I got the medium/large expecting it would be a bit loose on her but give her room to grow into it. Unfortunately, even on its tightest setting, it swum on her -- to the point that she could fit both her front legs through it while it was on her neck as tight as it would go. I don't think she'll ever be big enough to wear it, which makes me question the "medium" part of "medium/large" (she is somewhat dainty for a heeler, but still, heelers are not classified as small dogs; my full-grown male heeler wears a large collar). Anyway, I came back and ordered the small, and it fits her well, with room to grow (though I worry she'll end up too big for the small and too small for the medium/large). It's a good-looking collar and seems well-made. Just be aware your medium-sized dog might warrant a small here.

Fraying collar
I tried to contact the seller about this and it said there was an error and seller could not be contacted. I purchased this collar less than a month ago and it is already fraying. My puppy is only 20 pounds and less than a year old. I only use the leash on her when I take her out at night so the collar is not getting a lot of tug and pull during the day. I am heartsick over the collar because it is a beautiful collar and I am a huge Ohio State Fan. I only hope it lasts until the end of football season.

Boomer!!! Fantastic collar.
This collar is fantastic!!! I was a bit worried that it wouldn't fit my puppy now and thought maybe in his adult stages it would be great, but fortunately it fits him now (on smallest length setting) with plenty of room to grow with him for later as well!! :) The only down side is that the area on the outer edge of the OU ribbon just past the stitching is extremely rough and scratchy, but my dog has a dense coat and it doesn't appear to bother him at all. The silver part inside is incredibly soft and silky to the touch though. I can hardly wait for football season to get here so I can put this on him!!! #BOOMER

Exactly as advertised; very satisfied with our choice
We purchased the UGA special edition collar in small for our new puppy, who is 12 weeks old and will be a max of 20 lbs full grown. The collar appears to be good quality, fits well once adjusted, and the metal plate that dangles is attractive. The black background contrasts nicely with our full-grown dog's red UGA collar.

The collar looks really nice and the actual collar is made of some good ...
The collar looks really nice and the actual collar is made of some good material, but the clips and the adjustment band are made of some cheap plastic which if you have a bigger dog that likes to pull you are likely going to break the adjustment clip off and the collar will just fall off your dog. My sister got me one for Christmas and it lasted about 4 months and then one day I was walking my dog and she pulled a little and it just snapped the clip and the collar just fell off. I bought myself another to replace it and the same thing happened again in just a few weeks. As a reference I have a smaller black lab about 60lbs. If you have a large dog that likes to pull you might want to reconsider and get a stronger product.

KU Jayhawks Dog Collar
I bought this collar mostly for my daughter, she is a BIG KU fan and I figured so should her dog (Rott/Sheppard mix) since he is always with her no matter where she goes. Turns out she loved it and he wears it proudl!! You can only take it off of him for his bath and when he is dry he will literally grab his collar, bring it to you, put it in your lap and whine like he's telling you to put his collar back on. I guess he's a big KU fan also like his mommy. She even had his name "Fat Boi" engraved on the back of the silver KU medallion that hangs with his tags.

Almost there
It's an OK collar. I have a 48lb Vizlsa and need about 15 inches around her neck. The collar sizes are a little confusing here and on the K9 website, since some of them say it's good up to 14 inches and the large starts at 16 inches. Some of them say the small includes 15 inches... Bought it and took the chance. Result: Small works just fine for 15 inches :-) Now I can buy the other UT collar and keep the lady of the house happy. The stainless steel ID tag isn't quite what I expected. It looks to have more contrast in the picture, but the block M is pretty hard to see unless it's at the right angle with the light (Laser etched?) Also the little wire hook and loop that connects the ID tag to the collar is worthless and needs to be replaced.I might look to get one that is a little more robust (wider/thicker nylon). For a smaller dog this would be ok, at the limit of the collar, it seems a little thin. So, it's ok... the dog looks good in it... now I can buy the other UT collar and keep the lady of the house happy.

you will enjoy seeing this vivid red collar on your dog
If you are a graduate, or fan of Texas Tech, you will enjoy seeing this vivid red collar on your dog. This is the second identical collar we have bought for our dog, Cody (named for Charcoal Cody the horse). After about four years we thought a fresh one would look nice. Our dog loves his collar and doesn't want it taken off!
