Great bed, but a bit small. There’s no way this would fit 55 lb dog. My 40ish lb dogs? They love it.

We have 2 cats who are medium size and they both seem to love the new bed.The fact that you can take the cover off to clean was a huge selling point!!

I absolutely LOVE the softness of the material of this bed! I wondered if it would have that "new" smell, almost that dyed smell that makes you want to wash an item that smells like that before you use it, but it, in fact, did not! My senior 5-pound Malti-Poo tends to get cold easily, and this was the perfect thing for her to curl up in and take a long nap! And since she is 15 years old, she doesn't always completely finish urinating before she begins to walk away, which means a good bit ends up on the end of her tail or her back paws, so I needed a bed that had a removable cover and was washable. I washed the cover and the pillow that they actually lay on in the gentlest cycle on cold water and laid it out to dry. It washed wonderfully! I was so pleased with this item UNTIL I had to put the cover back on, which is why this product does not get 5 stars from me. After the 15 minutes I spent trying to figure out how the foam actually fits into the cover and how to line up the zipper, which one part is on the actual velour material and the other is on the the bottom where the pillow goes, I fought for another 15 minutes trying to line up the shorter part of the foam with the construction of the cover and finally had to call my son, the future mechanical engineer, in to figure it out since that is the type of skill it takes to get that stinking cover back on! The individual(s) who designed the cover of this bed must: (a) not be a pet owner, (b) not be a mother of three as well as a pet owner, (c) must not be a mother of three as well as a pet owner as well as have full-time employment because what mother of three and pet owner with a full-time job has time to fight to put a cover designed like that back on???? Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the material and the comfort it seems to afford my old lady Malti-Poo. But just beware of that cover when it's time to wash it for the first time because chances are, if you don't have a degree in engineering, you'll have exhausted your list of "wirdy durds" by the time you have gotten it all back together!

When I received the bed, it was all balled up in a plastic shipping bag, with tape all over. See photos. I was dubious that it would ever unfold and be a proper shape. Fortunately, over the course of a few days it settled into an oval shape. But seriously, who ships a dog bed this way? Anyway, quality-wise, it is not wuite the same quality as the other bed I have made by the same company purchased a few years ago. The fabric on this one feels and looks thinner and cheaper. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the previous one has. The only reason I bought another one is because I have two dogs and the old oval one is their favorite bed. No more fighting over who has it! That said, I wish the fabric had been a higher quality for the money paid.

My 9 year old Dog loves this bed! It took her a day or 2. She liked her other one, but she loves this one now. She sleeps comfortably through out the night.

I purchased size medium in grey for my chunky chihuahua mix who is around 13-16lbs I think? It’s nice and roomy for him. I probably should’ve gone with size small. The bed is decent quality, my dog loves it. My other smaller female chihuahua (maybe 9-10lbs?) can fit in the dog bed with him in the size medium. So for size reference one larger fat chihuahua and one smaller petite chihuahua can fit comfortably in size medium side by side. 😂🤣 The inner cushion comes out for washing and the rest of the bed has a zippered removable cover on it. I purchased it because it says it’s machine washable and ain’t nobody got time to hand wash a dog bed. If I was to order again I would order in size small because only the fat chihuahua likes dog beds so it’s only for him and the size medium is fine but takes up more space than needed. My mom brought her 20-22lb pug over and he fits the size medium comfortably as well by himself with just a little bit of wiggle room. Any dog bigger than that I would go up to the next size. But then again her pug is short and fat. 🤔 hope this helps someone.

This is a beautiful dog bed, and you can not beat the price! I bought the "small" for my Chihuahua, and a lot of times "small" is too small on a lot of products, despite the fact they list Chihuahuas as one of the breeds their products are made for. This is MORE than enough room for my dog to comfortably lay in and have a little extra space for stretching out, or turning around in.

I bought my two fur babys these beds. They are so cute and made well.

This is so cosy for my cat & I like the fact I can unzip the whole cover not just the cushion bit to wash it. Very practical soft & warm. Top marks!

Love this pink bed for my girlies.. but bit pricey

First off before I begin my review it's important to note .... There are 18 color variations, two cushioning options and six different sizes on the Amazon product listing for this dog bed. It's important when you read the reviews that you are reading a review for the product combination you are thinking of buying.My review is for the Medium Sized bed with the Orthopedic Base.I wanted to find an oval cuddler bed with firm sides (bolster) for our 15 lbs cockapoo.Before buying this Furhaven bed I bought several others including one from Amazon Basics. Most of the round beds I purchased were poorly made and not very supportive. The Amazon basics bed I bought was actually pretty good but I needed something a little bigger with a little more support.Our cockapoo loves this Furhaven bed. The orthopedic foam is soft but Firm. The Side walls (bolster) is supportive and the quality of the whole bed is very good. The cushions are removable so the bed can be washed and the sherpa fleece is very durable.At 48.99 I was a bit hesitant to buy this bed but after using it for awhile now I'm glad I did ... it's totally worth it.My advice would be to purchase the Orthopedic Base if you can afford it and the proper size for your dog.If you have a smaller dog breed (under12lbs) and don't want to spend $50 on a bed I would recommend the Amazonbasics Round Bolster Dog Bed which is only $21.99. (ASIN : B07233P1W2). Our dog likes that bed also but prefers the extra room and orthopedic foam with the medium sized Furhaven bed.

Si le gusto a mi perrita pero no la uso hasta que puse su cobija, lo que rodea la cama está súper bien pero el cojín está demasiado delgado parece que se acuesta en el piso, le voy a poner otro cojín y yo creo asi estará mejor. Es buena cama si pusieran más relleno en el cojín estaría perfecta. Mi perro es una mezcla de chihuahua con schnauzer y la talla mediana le quedó bien, pidan una talla más grande de la que normalmente compran.
