High quality oil with known, high quality base stocks
there are a lot of boutique oils that are heavily marketed, without the make disclosing what base stock is being used. Redline is one of the makers who is willing to tell us what base stock and additive levels the are using. Imo this is because this is because they have nothing to hide. This is a pricey product, but it has expensive, group 4 and 5 base stocks. After thoroughly researching the available options. this is what I ended up putting in my Zt mower (Kawaski fr691 engine) . Hot running, air cooled engine, my primary concern was to use a high performance, high hths, low noack lubricant, helping the engine run a bit cooler, and to minimize oil consumptions this engine is prone to.Strangely enough, I am not completely blown away with this oil in the Kawi Fr-691 engine. The engine has 10 hours total on it, and runs a bit noisy, with some apparent valve clatter. I am really tempted to change it out to a gtl/PAO based oil such as the M1 or Castrol 15w50 or 0w40, just to see if it runs quieter with one of those. Of course this is a totally subjective impression, nothing really tangible. It is possible that my engine needs a valve lash adjustment already.

Two Saabs to 300K+
I've been using Red Line in my Saabs for 20+ years. I first started in the 90's with our 1996 900S. After that one was totaled in 2011 with nearly 200K, I've added two 9-5s to our fleet. Both had 240K on them when I got them. The 1999 model made it to 343K before being totaled. The 2002 is still going at 305K. I've used the 15W-50 in the 9-5's with occasional Mobile1 of the same weight. I've never had the oil tested, but all I know is that I don't have engine issues beyond the normal leaks that old 9-5s experience.

superior engine oil , worth the cost
expensive, but a superior oil, engine used less oil at the track, and I love the narrow neck bottles, no need to use a funnel when adding oil.

The best that money can buy
Your oil pressure will be higher, oil temp lower, expect smooth robust acceleration. Suitable for performance applications especially LS motors, make sure you warm the oil up before driving hard

Expensive but worth it for older cars
The reduction in Zddp for most motor oils has proven disastrous to many older vehicles. While this was done to protect newer catalytic converters, it is very bad for camshafts.Redline is one of the few manufacturers which still maintains high levels of zddp. But they also use the very best baseline synthetic stock available.I use this in all my older cars up through the mid nineties. The cost of an engine rebuild is far higher than the few bucks extra for oil. However, for the late model daily drivers, I simply use Mobil 1.

I've used Redline ever since I've had a car. ...
I've used Redline ever since I've had a car... No lie, I use it in my lawnmowers too. As long as I change my oil in a timely basis, I know it will last. I have a Tacoma with 450k miles stock motor and not needing a rebuild. Yes, it is thick... but my rings last

Excellent Oil for Older Cars
I really have had excellent long term results with Red Line. I have been using in it in the same cars since the mid 80's (cars I still own and drive). Red Line also offers more choice in viscosities than other brands off the shelf in your local auto part's store. It is difficult to locate locally but ordering it in bulk from Amazon was a very easy process and shipping was quick as well. I highly recommend this oil.Thomas P Cosgrove DMD PCcosgrovedentalcare.comBirmingham, Alabama

安定です。
国内外様々なメーカーのオイルを使ってきましたが、今はこれに落ち着いています。だいたい5000km交換ですが油圧の落ちも特にありません。いいオイルだと思います。
