I have been using this product for years for my horses and donkey and one of my dogs. This powder will soothe the extreme itchiness from yeast, allergies or bug bites, instantly. My little terrier mix dog had a terrible stinky itch problem that was not resolved by Rxs or diet change. She develops a ‘sweaty’ residue that smells really bad. Bathing every day did not help. I started to use this powder on her while I tried to figure out what was causing it. The powder brought her immediate relief! ( I do give her many supplements and allergy meds…and we are finally at a point where the itching has lessened quite a bit…but her scratching had already caused a great deal of her hair to fall out). Once I started using Coat Defense, her hair started to grow back! This is great stuff!! My girl’s skin is no longer inflamed and angry looking and she is far more content.My ONLY issue is the bottle that it comes in. The caps are defective at the very top of the shaker area and are a real struggle to close. They do not close properly and they do not remain closed. There is also not a satisfactory control over the amount you are shaking…you either get too little or a giant pile. This always resulted in the powder being spilled everywhere.The last order didn’t even survive the shipping process. The manufacturer was immediate in response to my issue and sent me a replacement bottle very quickly. Super customer service! After the last unexpected mess, I decided to transfer the contents of the bottle into a dry seasoning container with a shaker top that can be adjusted for several measures of flow ( and can be completely closed also). This works much better than the original bottle.If you have an animal who is struggling with a mystery itch…BUY THIS POWDER!!You won’t be disappointed.
