7" long custom handmade leather sheath for 4" cutting blade knife

This item shipped very quickly. When I opened the package, the sheath was wrapped in bubble wrap and a plastic bag - sufficient enough for me. I carefully inspected the sheath and found it to be flawless. I was a salesman for quality knives for a few years and can recognize good quality merchandise when I see it. This sheath is hand made with excellent attention to detail with great craftsmanship! The leather is very heavy duty and selected to last many years. It appears to be genuine leather, but even if it's bonded, this sheath will last as long as I need it to. There's no obnoxious odor which would be a tell-tale give-away if it was bonded. I don't forsee it being roughed up in the wilderness much, so for urban carry, it'll be fine. The double stitching appears to be very secure and the outer stitch holds an edge spacer in place that will prevent the sharp edge of my knife from cutting through the stitches. The condition of the plain brass snap (no star) and rivet appears solid. This sheath fits my brand new Custom Field Knife PERFECTLY! My knife already came with a custom Kydex Sheath with a Tek Lock Clip, but I'm old school and love the feel of leather, hence my decision to search for a decent leather sheath. My knife slides in snuggly and if I ever forget to secure the snap, my knife will remain in it's sheath until I draw it out. EXCELLENT VALUE. If I were to guess what it's true retail value should be - I'd have to say about $30.00 conservatively. I have to admit that after reading the negative reviews, I did slightly hesitate, but only for a minute. IMO, everyone has a right to voice their opinion - if they're not familiar with items like this, they may not utilize them properly and leave a negative review. To ensure a knife will fit in a sheath correctly all you do is place it over the front of the sheath. Only if it falls within the parameters of the sheath should you insert your knife into it. NEVER SHOVE your blade into the sheath. If it doesn't fit with a gentle nudge, the sheath is too small and no shoving is going to improve that. Just return it and order a different one after you measure out your knife. Hope this helps. Personally, I am pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this item if you have a knife that fits it's dimensions.

quality leather and craftsmanship

This is a nice, generic, sheath; substantial leather, double stitching. When conditions allow, I do like leather vs tacti-cool nylon. This sheath rides pretty high on the belt. I like that. But the belt loop is a little slim compared to the build of the body. I did end up adding another snap (General tool, Home Depot) position about 3/4 inch up and 1/4 inch tighter than the stock snap position to better retain my BK-16 knife which does have a rather slim handle and subdued finger guard. If you're at all handy, I recommend this sheath, but you may need to add a snap for your particular carry. With mod, it's working great.

I don't normally review items I have purchased however after reading some of the negative comments regarding this product I felt it necessary to share my experience. I've ordered three of these now for projects I've been working on and found each one to be very good. Thick leather. Solid stitching. Just high quality all around.

I have a 4 inch JW McFarland (1992) and this fits very nice. It looks fantastic too. Nice stitching and the leather quality seems to be good. Can't beat it for the price. Amazon said it would arrive on the 12th but it arrived 6 days early. I tried to post a picture but the Amazon app was not cooperating.

First, I will start with the good. The laser itself is bright enough to use for stargazing. You can see the beam, which allows you to point out items in the night sky. That is exactly what I was looking for. There are two issues I have. One is that the button to turn it on has a hair trigger. It is so sensitive that it sometimes turns on just from me picking up the pointer. It also gets stuck in the on position at times. It is possible this is just an issue with my specific unit. The second issue has to do with charging. It doesn’t specify the type of usb that it used. However, the usb cable in the picture is a usb-a to usb-c cable. This does not use usb-c. It uses micro-usb, which is unfortunate. The description also states that you can charge it after unscrewing a cap. There isn’t a cap on mine, which means the port is open to the elements. Overall, the laser itself is quite good. I could even deal with it using micro-usb (though it would have been nice if that was correctly shown/stated). The on/off button issues are more of a concern since it constantly feel like it could turn on and just drain the battery. If the button worked better, I could see this being 5 stars since the charging concern could be corrected through a better description.

The media could not be loaded.  The green beam is super strong, specially when compared to others in similar price range.Attachments work but are flimsy , don’t have a use for them that’s why it’s not affecting rating. Great item for the price.

How can you sell a product which you know is not made correctly? The button on the laser is way too loose and it doesn’t hold the ground.! Keep shutting off as soon as turned on.. shameful!!!!!!!
