Tough, comfortable pants at a good price.
Great pants. Tough as hell. I’ve been wearing them (Riggs) for about 5 years and they are my favorite pants. I usually have about 8 or 9 pairs (pants and shorts) at a given time. They last me about 2 years before I wear holes in them (usually the edge of the front left pocket and the front of the thighs above the double knee). I’m a fabricator and these pants get exposed to a lot (welding, grinding, sparks, hot and sharp metal) but the hold strong. Toward the end of their lifespan, when they are soft and broken in, they are hard to get rid of. My wife hates that I still wear them when they have holes in em. Hard to let go.

I will gladly spend $40-$45 on these pants
Love Wrangler Riggs. They are the only work pants I will wear, and have done so for about 5 years. They last long enough and they look professional. That gusseted crotch, is one of those things you didn't know you needed until you try it. There is no tightness anywhere on me when I squat or bend in any position, that alone is worth the money. My least favorite part about the cargo pants version however is that eventually, perhaps due to the ruggedness of the stitching for the extra material on from the thigh to mid shin, and it moving around when you squat and stand, I always wear a hole above the stitching. Picture attached. The cargo pockets are adequate. I do wish they were an inch or two lower, so they wouldn't interfere with my tool belt as much but if they were lower I am sure the stuff in the cargo pockets would bang around on my knees which would be no fun. So no good solution there. There are no inner pockets inside of the cargo pockets which is also a shame.I still like these pants so much that I can't give them a four star review. If I could I would say more like a 4.5 star.Just buy them.

Way Better than Carhartt
This is probably my 4th pair of Riggs. I started buying these when Carhartt's quality went down hill, quite noticeably. So instead of continuing to buy a product just because of a name (like most people are doing still), i decided to go with quality. I was never really big into the way the Wranglers fit, but my dad had pair before me and said they were great. When i decided to buy my first pair, he was right. PLUS, the rip-stop material is really strong and long-lasting.Honestly, i just went through my last pair and they lasted 1 year. That's also because i wore them every day at work, washing them twice a week. I consider that pretty darn good. Over time, there was fading in spots where i'd have something constantly in the same pocket. For example, my wallet, keys, and phone all had white outlines and ended up wearing over time. Not the greatest look but it did take a while to get to that point. And again, i wore the heck out of them. The fit is okay. Ordering any clothing online can be a risk. I can tell you that i'm honest to myself about my waist size (36). I've noticed on reviews of pants, in general, that a lot of men either don't know where their waistline is, or they're not being honest. This creates the problem of "what size should i order?" and "Are they true to size"? To save some confusion with these Riggs, i'd say order the size that fits you best, overall. Since i work both in and outside, i order a 38 W so that i have room to tuck shirts in.Another key feature about these that even most casual jeans fail to do, is they have the 2 belt loops on both sides of the back seam. I absolutely hate when there's way too much space in between loops, resulting in bunching or the belt coming up above the pants. These will prevent that from happening. They also sport a leather pocket corner on the right side pocket. This is also a great feature because it prevents wearing from the constant in and out of getting keys or phones or whatever you keep in the front pocket. I do wish that both front pockets had them, not just the right. Both back pockets have added protection on the top of them, as well. Not leather but added material for protection.Simply put, Wrangler makes these pants to last for the working Man or Woman. Carhartt lost that a while back. I used to go through the knees of those pants like nobody's business. Owning one pair of these as opposed to 3 pair in a year, makes much more sense and much more AFFORDABLE.Here's a quick Pros and Cons for further assistance. Thanks for reading!Pros:-Quality ripstop material that is comfortable and roomy-Added material at knees-Leather padding and added material to pockets-Proper amount of wide belt loops-Fit is true to size-Long-lasting-PriceCons:-Could use some more color options

Small waist, too long, and pockets are useless. Tough material though.
First of all, they sent the wrong color, I ordered the Bark color and they sent the Green color. Not a big enough deal for me to hassle with a return, but still irritating.I'm just using them to work on projects around the house, but was tired of tearing up decent blue jeans on projects that got them dirty or ripped.First of all, I normally wear a 38 waist and 32 length. And I ordered in that size, but the waist is really too tight, I can get them on, but not as comfy as I'd like... The fact that they are tight at the waist means that the pockets are hard to get your hands and objects in and out of, and to make it worse the pockets are cut towards the top of the pants, rather than down sideways a bit, so you have to stick your hands in from a steep angle directly down. As for the cargo pockets, they are too tight as well, and therefore not really easy to get into or out of, and not really useful for putting anything useful in there. And around the hip area they are still tight, so items in your front pockets get squished (cell phone, and my key fob kept setting off my car alarm), once the pants get down to the leg area, they are too large. As for the length, they are a tad long, to the point of dragging on the ground a big when I walk. The legs themselves are fairly roomy, but with the waist being tight, I don't find the pants particularity comfortable....The material (despite being the wrong color) is pretty obviously tough. Only had them a few days but judging from how rigid they are, it will take a few washings to get these limbered up, and they are going to be plenty rugged enough for me.All in all, maybe I should have returned them, but wanted to get some projects done and decided to just bite the size problem and use them. Now that I think about it, once I wash them I'll probably not fit into them anymore if they shrink. I don't like them enough to order the correct size, will probably try a different brand hoping for a better fit and more useful pockets. For sure, if you order these using typical jean sizes, I'd say go bigger in the waist and shorter in the length, hopefully you will get a better result. But even if you get a good fit, I don't like the pockets enough to order another pair.Edit. After a year or two of having these. My fit is still the same. But as for the material and durability, these are bulletproof. Tough. And the material did limber up pretty well.
