Hike Card Game - Hiking Themed Matching Game

My 6 year old son loves this game, and so do my husband and I. The gameplay is pretty straight forward, but there is a big learning curve to learn all the special cards and how to score. Read the directions through carefully, study the special cards to know how they function, and refer to the directions for scoring. It took us a few days of referring to the scoring instructions, but then we had it down. Really fun! Mild strategy, some luck involved, fun twists, and don't get LITTER.

We're really enjoying this simple, fun game these days (kids ages 7-10 and myself). It's kind of like a cross between Uno and Fluxx, and I find it a whole lot more fun than Uno, and equivalent fun level to Fluxx. Like others mentioned, it takes a few plays to figure out scoring and card usage, but then it goes quickly after that. Definitely a keeper on our game shelf!

We have been playing Hike all morning. What fun! My 5 yr old daughter had no trouble picking it up, and beat us fair and square! It's in a compact box and can be played in a small playing space, so it will be coming with us everywhere. Definitely a game you want in your inventory!

Gave as a gift to young person. Guess it’s ment for a different age group

Not as fun as it looked. Confusing to remember the rules that are played out throughout the game, and scoring was difficult too. It was slow moving because you have to remember the stipulations if there are any during a hand.

They love this game. They sat and played it for a few hours. Great to take with on camping trips.

I think this game is good for killing time. If you want something with little to no thought needed, this is good. Though there can be strategy for holding on to some cards, the game was not too exciting. Even the kids just thought the game was just okay. Quality good, plays quick. Maybe we are just too into heavier games.
