The Sinister Tradition

Anton Long is definitely worth reading. Gaining an understanding of the Left Hand Path and Right Hand makes you balanced in your ideology and be able to have a much more clear and objective world view. This is 3 good readings in one package, and only benefits one to be sentient towards different beliefs.

This book is amazing, I am so happy to have gotten this book!!! Just as described and arrived quickly. Will reccomend highly!

Great book on Satanism. It is has a much different approach than Lavey, Zane, and Ford, but that's what makes it so good. Three books in one, how can you go wrong?

Of course all of these and many other works of the Order are available online for free, but to have them in this great paperback edition is just priceless! Naos, Grimoire of Baphomet and Codex Saerus are essential to the ONA as I suppose many do understand, and that is why I like it so much that I have them now in one book that is always available to me, wherever I may go! That is probably the greatest value of this paperback edition, alongside the value of the works contained themselves!

Well, this book is not for the casual dabbler nor is it your average LHP book. I like the invocations, but not something I'm going to run out and practice.

This collection of works by Long presents the core of the valued teachings of the ONA. Despite some controversial passages, there remains a high level of occult scholarly value and research here. Whilst the star game and some of the rituals may not be to my taste or morality, the collection is notable in its value to both the student of the occult and the left-hand path.

This text arrived faster than expected, (I used standard shipping with Amazon.ca) ordered on the 9th and got it by the 12th. I own many original ONA missives in their spiral bound editions, but this one blows them all away in craftsmanship. Almost every typo or grammatical error have been fixed, and the cover itself (simple as it is) conveys the message that this book may not in fact just be a book.The rituals included are correct to the originals, as are all the images of the Dark Ones, just without color as this book is entirely black and white.Definitely worth the purchase, why haven't you gotten your copy yet?

Excellent quality book, arrived sooner than expected.

The rituals and exercises in this book are very unrealistic. They talk about deserting oneself in complete isolation from society and living just like how our ancestors did thousands of years ago. We live in the real world, not the old one.I really didn't get the "star game" concept. Instead of just writing the damn word, the author would replace it with an alchemical glyph. It seemed like he was purposely trying to force the reader to memorize it's symbolism which felt really annoying. It's probably why I didn't get some of the ideas in this book.The theology of this seems a lot different than other left hand path perspectives.
