I have had a couple of glass versions break and was after something that will last. This is the ideal upgrade to a glass caffetiere.Size wise it fills two standard mugs so don't be thinking this thing is huge, it isn't.I feel that it is a high quality item, solid and robust that will last a long time and is well worth the money. Easy to take apart to clean and looks smart enough to leave out next to the kettle.The double wall feature isn't exactly insulation but does keep the coffee temperature warm for longer than a glass one, easily enough to finish the first coffee without it being cold.

I'm so happy with this purchase! After my glass cafetiere cracked, I decided to look at something a little more robust. And that led me to consider the stainless steel options over the more typical glass. So pleased I did! Being double walled, it keeps the coffee hotter for longer, but this VonShef 6-cup is also such a nifty, ergonomic design, it feels really lovely to use. The handle is perfect and I also love that the plunger top has an open and closed design, meaning after you've poured, you can twist the opening closed, also helping to keep the coffee hotter for longer. And this is the perfect size for me - gives me two large mugs' worth for starting my day. The only very slight niggle - and this is me being super picky! - is that the metal on metal as you press down the plunger can make your teeth zing a little! But it is very slight and nothing that would put me off using it. I hope its longevity is as good as the initial impressions. It certainly seems incredibly well designed and made, so I have high hopes. Also comes with a stainless steel measuring spoon that doubles as a bag clip. Love, love, love it!

Finally a truly dishwasher safe caretiere. It's well made, pours really well and keeps coffee hot. So glad that I got it.

I am delighted with this buy. I bought it to use in a motorhome and the size is perfect for the limited space available. It is probably best described as 2 cup for my purpose. As an aside, it is a handsome coffee pot. Love it!

I have now bought two of these and they are excellent for making coffee for a large group of people. Would recommend.

Muy bonita, y resistente. Al ser estrecha porque es de tres plazas sólo, a la hora de limpiarla cuesta, porque no cabe la mano dentro para sacar las hojas del té. Por lo demás, todo perfecto

Bonne cafetière, et jolie. Garde bien au chaud. Compte tenu de sa fabrication en métal, je redoutais un peu le bruit strident lorsqu'on descend le piston. En fait, il n'en est rien.Je recommande.

Es estupenda para hacer infusiones.Facil de limpiar en lavavajillas.
