Q: Is the lid a single piece like the plastic see through ones ive seen on other mugs or does it have hard to clean areas?

It does have a rubber ring around it which seals the lid to the cup. This can be removed easily whilst cleaning.

Q: Can you seal the lid completley so I can put it in a bag ?

No not suitable for carrying in a bag. It has a small hole where your drink comes out that can’t be closed

Q: Can it go in a dishwasher?

I've washed it loads of times in the dishwasher. Don't put it next to anything metal though it takes the coloured coating off the outside of the cup.
