This is not my first heated-seat. Super easy to install (it is a toilet seat). Long thin cord can be swung behind the toilet to the nearest outlet. Hint: the weak spot is the junction from seat to cord. You might want to set up a preventive straightener... I have used an unfolded paperclip taped to the underside of the seat and along the cord. That made my last seat last several years.And remember, this is not a seat that is warm to the touch of your hand. However, sit yourself down and ahhhh. If you think it is not working, just put your calf on the porcelain of the toilet. Without this seat, that is what you would be dealing with on your rear. To keep the difference in temp, always close the lid. Guests have not and I have been unpleasantly surprised. Now everyone gets the same counsel: the seat hold warmth because the lid is closed.

If any of you have a cold bathroom and hate sitting on a cold bathroom seat, this seat is for you. You can actually relax instead of dreading the time and waiting because you don't like to be cold.

Must Have for anyone that suffers from nerve related problems , constipation, Prostatitis, or other medical issues. The first thing that happens when you sit on any regular seat is your body tightens due to the cold. Kind of a catch 22 if you're having issues with the process.Even if you don't have medical issues this seat is a must have.

All of my friends love to use my bathrooom and new comers to my home are happily surprised. No more getting up in the middle of the night to a cold toilet!!!

This product barely heats! A total ripoff.
