It works! Five stars!
Works like a charm. I received this and set it up. Within a few hours on the first night, I caught a huge raccoon. The animal would not go in my cage so I tried this trap. It is very hard to set by hand as the spring is extremely strong. I had to get the tool that is advertised on Amazon to set this type of trap. I secured it with chains around a tree, put mini marshmallows in it, and instant results! The animal did everything it could to try to get out, but couldn't. I will probably buy more of them.

Good trap it will hold big coons
Good trap it will hold big coons; the only flaw is the part that goes in the ground if you use these in wet bottoms and the ground freezes it may be difficult to pull out.
