Too Yummy.........
One of our cats is very finnicky. She will eat a little kibble but won't touch wet canned food, and we were giving her some pureed salmon and chicken pudding but that didn't seem very nutritional, so then I bought a different brand of freeze dried salmon and minnows and she loved those, but then I bought this brand and she turns her nose up to everything else except this salmon. She comes up and stares at me, and I offer her other stuff she used to like, but just stares pitifully at me till i give her a few pieces of this. This is supposed to be a treat of a few pieces a day and is too expensive for a constant meal. I am hoping to wean her off of these.

Only treats my cats like
My cats love these treats! I would say they are on the exspensive side because the bag is less then half full and I have two cats and I use them as a treat like a food topper once or twice a week, they don't care for other cats treats or wet food so I don't have an issue spending a little more on these I get a bag about every two weeks but sometime they do come on sale so I will buy more. My cats seem to think they taste good because they eat them right up, I wouldn't say they are hard because they don't sound crunchy when they eat them, they are thick like hard chunks of albacore tuna it looks like. The ingridents list is simple so I feel like it's a good value for your money overall you are aware of what you are giving your cat.

Quality pieces of salmon at a decent price. It's my cat's favorite treat.
My cat Mars goes wild for these. He broke into the pantry once and went to town. I had to move his treats to the fridge, but they are in his daily rotation of treats.

Good product but may be dangerous to gobbling cats.
My cats love the taste, but my greedy girl has had problems swallowing. It's freeze dried, which is fine, but the pieces are quite large. It says you can moisten it with water.

Our kitkit LOVES these!
I mistakenly tried a different brand for my last order. I have sure learned my lesson! I hate fish and the smell of these really isn't bad at all. Our cat fell in love with these from the very first one she ate. Sometimes she gets a couple as a treat and sometimes, when she is being finicky about her food, I will crumble a couple of them up and sprinkle on top of her canned food. She will then scarf down anything! I HIGHLY recommend these salmon treats for your cats or dogs. They are wonderful! I think the thing I like the most about this line is that there is only one ingredient, the protein. These work wonderfully for our diabetic cat. She can have a few a day and it still keeps her weight in the healthy range. She truly has trained us well... if we go anywhere near our bedroom, where "her space" is located, out of the reach of our dogs, she has made it clear that she should get a treat! I don't have to tell her no that often anymore since these treats are so much better for her.

Disappointed
I have purchased this exact brand and product in the past and the salmon had a healthy pink-orange color and a flaky consistency that could easily be broken apart by hand. The latest bag I purchased had large cubes (about an inch) that could never be eaten by a cat unless it is a mountain lion or puma. The color was off, like a hot pink, and they were as hard as rocks. I tried smashing them apart for consumption and it was nearly impossible. After finally going a little passionately aggressive with a meat cleaver on a cutting board I managed to smash a few into smaller pieces. All 5 cats who were formerly obsessed with these treats turned their nose up at these.Thinking that this bag must have been contaminated with something to cause this, I contacted Amazon for a replacement only to be told these can’t be returned or replaced. What?? That’s what I get for not reading the small print.I wrote the company asking what the difference in this bag could possibly be, because at $33 this is a luxury that I’m not willing to just ignore, and I have not yet received a response.I won’t be purchasing these anymore because at $33 for cat treats I can’t risk another bag of rocks that can’t be replaced. First world problems, I know.Update: It has now been 1.5 weeks and the company never responded to my question about why the quality of this bag was different. Disappointing customer service to say the least.

My Cats Are Obsessed!
When I first introduced these tuna treats to my two cats, they sniffed them and weren't immediately interested. However, once they took their first bites, they went absolutely crazy for them! My female long-haired black cat literally starts purring and "singing" happy cat songs every time I pull these treats out. I think they might just be her favorite thing in the world!I also get the Whole Life chicken treats for them, but the tuna version is by far the clear winner in our household. The only thing to keep in mind is that the tuna treats come in large squares, which could be a choking hazard if not broken down. I always split one square into a few smaller pieces to be safe.Overall, highly recommend these – my cats are obsessed!
